Ninth Chief Executive Officer of the Electric Light Orchestra + Selling STEEM, Buying HIVE + a Prize
There's been a little bit of snow over the last couple of days. It seems spring has been delayed. It's a good job i didn't leave my babies outside.
A prize for the first person to comment and correctly guess what i'm talking about in the first part of this post title.
Earlier today i received this message:

Fancy forgetting you need an in person quorum to stay in power, then making rules to stay at home. Duh! Not as bright as you think you are, huh?. You will be replaced!

Selling STEEM. Buying and Powering Up HIVE
Two Days ago i bought 635 HIVE with some BTC i had, using ionomy.com. It was quite simple and intuitive to use.
Today i was ready to sell STEEM as i began a power down 7 days ago. There was a little more to do here as there is no trading pair for STEEM/HIVE. It is therefore necessary to exchange the STEEM for BTC, then exchange the BTC for HIVE.
Using 
In a nutshell (Natural Medicine's tutorial gives detailed instructions with screenshots) i did the following:
- Using SteemPeak wallet, i transferred STEEM to @ionomy
- In ionomy.com i exchanged the STEEM for BTC (Bitcoin)
- Again in ionomy.com i exchanged the BTC for HIVE
- From ionomy.com i transferred the HIVE i had just bought to my Hive account on the Hive Blockchain. (Not that i don't trust ionomy.com, but it's always best (imo) not to keep your Crypto on exchanges, especially after the debacle of Binance, Huobi and Polionex supporting the hostile takeover of Steem by Justin Tron by proxying their client funds to Justin Sun).
- Powered Up HIVE using PeakD wallet.
It took me about an hour to do all this, which included waiting for my Limit Order to buy HIVE to get taken up.
So basically i exchanged 2,913 STEEM for 2,235 HIVE
I'm happy with that.
A little later however i noticed an 
I think it will be easier and quicker to use Blocktrades next week when my next SP becomes liquid STEEM. I wonder, which will give me more HIVE for my STEEM? 
I'll leave you with a few pictures from a sunny walk in the mountain forest on Saturday, and a truckload of snow two days later around my home.
Actually, i changed my mind, realising it's nearly 1am. Another day.
