Listen
I remember as a 10 year old kid listening to radio. This is 80's, summer vacation is on and there was not much to do during long summer afternoons. I grew up in the suburbs. I remember long summer afternoon creep on and me listening to radio. TV was in full swing back then, and radio popularity was dwindling, if anything. I do not think FM stations started back then, so it was the national broadcast that used to interest me. Don't know why radio was so appealing to me. May be because, I love to read (still do) and listening to radio off and on while reading comes naturally. Mostly what I loved to listen is story telling on radio. At the time, there was a detective/paranormal radio show that I was quite addicted to. It would be on every Saturday at 12 noon. Oh! I would wait all week to listen to it!
Near Present Day
Fast forward many years, and I am driving near Capitol Reef National Park, near dusk; and listening to Rabbits Podcast (the picture above). There is not a car in sight as Waterpocket Fold area is not crowded at all, especially the dirt road at dusk..
And I just do not want that show to end! Its so good and involved, you just get sucked into it. The beauty of many of these shows is that you must believe, at least for the time being. If you do, the experience is so much better.
"...she started seeing mysterious men in gray .... "
"...how many steps to the lighthouse..."
It is about a mysterious augmented/alternate reality game which started as Carly Parker begins the search for her friend Yumiko, who has disappeared without a trace. The police didn't find anything suspicious and eventually dropped the investigation. "There is no amber-alert for adults" ..
So it boils down to..
...are you playing Rabbits?...
