I was posting only in two communities at the time, but as I learned more about other communities and saw what others were doing, I got determined to step up my game.
My desire to advance was quite difficult at first due to my lack of knowledge about the Blockchain, but things changed when agreed to mentor me, along with everything I learnt from the Hive learners community.
Even though I didn't clearly specify my goals for the first half of the year, I've made some progress in the hive journey.
I've progressed from posting in two communities to approximately six, and my understanding of the Hive Blockchain has expanded, but I don't want to stop there; I desire to learn more and explore other communities.
Some time ago, the Intellectual , who is also the originator of the Newbie Initiative, advised us in the Hive learners community about adopting the S.M. A. R. T. model in setting our goals here on Hive.
This means that our goals must be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely. As a result, rather than simply listing my goals, I will also include some actionable steps that I must take to ensure that my goals are realized.

More Hive Power
My goal is to have at least 1,000 H.P at the end of 2022. Although I have just 300 H.P now, this will be achievable if I post good and quality contents regularly, power up Hbd and other liquid tokens and never engage in a Power down.
Improved Engagements
It's no secret that effective engagement is one of the things that will skyrocket anyone in his or her hive journey. Many excellent authors have also clearly stated that making at least 20 comments per day would make a hiver popular in a year.
I've come to realize that engagement entails more than merely dumping comments and leaving.
It has to do with having meaningful interactions with others, as well as developing positive relationships with authors, moderators, and curators on the Blockchain.
It could also include rebolging, upvoting, and following back authors.
Although I have been lagging in this area, I want to improve, so I have devised an engagement strategy that entails making at least 3-5 comments everyday in the communities where I post and those where I intend to post. I would also engage with people who have a high reputation more.
More Followers
I believe that having a large number of followers is beneficial because it increases the visibility of one's content.
If you have more followers, your contents will be seen by more people, which will result in more comments and engagement on that particular post.
Again, more Follwership is dependent on how much I engage, how frequently I post high-quality content and the communities i post in. I have roughly 9 followers, but my objective is to have at least 259 followers at the end of the second half of the year.
Post Good Contents At Least Four Times A Week
Posting high-quality content is one of my of goals, as well as an actionable step toward achieving other goals.
For example, if I want to reach 1000 hive power and attract more followers before the end of the year, I'll need to provide quality content on a regular basis. Therefore, I must post at least four times per week.
Despite the fact that the music communities are my niche communities; (because I love singing and have a natural talent for it), There are many other writing communities I find interesting such as Q-inspired, Emotions and feelings, Foodies bee hive, Hive learners, comedy open mic, Ink well and few others.
Writing two articles per week would be a terrific start for me, and as I progress through Hive, my goal is to explore as many communities as possible.
Consistency
once said thatt if we must be successful in our hive journey, then we must show up everyday.
Consistency is a crucial component in achieving success in all aspects of one's life that is why It is not enough to state my goals and the steps I'll take to achieve them; I must engage, participate in community contests, and post quality content on a regular basis, whether I feel like it or not, if I'm going to meet all of my objectives, because goals cannot be achieved without consistency.
Finally, one of my objectives before the year ends is to study more about the blockchain and gain a better understanding of it.
I'd also like to learn about how to buy and stake more second layer tokens, among other things.
Hive is both a school and a skill and I'd like to learn everything I can about it because Learning never stops.
Thank you so much for reading.
Until next time,
Love and Blessings!!
