I think I made a new friend. This bird, I mean birb, sits here everyday. I mean it's getting warmer here so obviously pigeons are flying in. We have a lot of pigeons here. They're pretty brave, too. A shoo won't even tickle their toes...talons. Are they talons?
I feed a couple of pigeons cooked rice from my kitchen window. They are always there waiting at the same time everyday for thei reserved meal. This birb is however not a member of the kitchen gang. As you can see, this birb don't care about no cooked rice.
Birb sits on the egyptian style pillar on the side of my front balcony. I first noticed birb day before yesterday. Paid no attention to him. I should have. Look at the way he's staring at all pesky cars and humans from up here. Do you think he has a world domination plan? He does have those eyes...
I'm not gonna bother birb today. I'm smarter than that. He obviously doesn't want food. He isn't the same breed of pigeons as the kitchen gang. Those guys are the fancy, pink beaked white ones. So maybe birb is just looking for a human friend.
Today, I just politely asked him if I could take his picture. He rudely didn't reply. He's shy, I guess. So I sneaked in a few shots. Gave him a virtual belly rub with my finger. And walked away. This is his spot for 3 days now. We'll check on him tomorrow.
All I'm saying is just look at his eyes and how rudely he hadn't replied to me. If I go missing y'all know which two-winged culprit to catch.
Until tomorrow, Birb.
