Continuing with the initiative to protect the environment, today I bring you a new proposal to recycle plastic bags and turn them into a useful, functional, decorative and elegant object. Today I want to show you how to make a curtain grabber.
Continuando con la iniciativa de proteger el medio ambiente, hoy les traigo una nueva propuesta para reciclar bolsas de plástico y convertirlas en un objeto útil, funcional, decorativo y elegante. Hoy quiero mostrarte cómo hacer un sujetador de cortinas.
The materials you will need:
Los materiales que necesitarás:
•Plastic bags.
•Pattern.
• Crochet hook.
• Decorative stone.
•Needle and thread.
•Scissors.
•Bolsas de plástico.
•Patrón.
• Gancho de crochet.
• Piedra decorativa.
•Aguja e hilo.
•Tijeras.
We start by cutting the bag in a spiral to make a continuous strip.
Empezamos cortando la bolsa en espiral para hacer una tira continua.
Then with the crochet needle we knit 12 chains, in the second round we make half stitches so on until we complete the fourth round and form a petal, we will need 5 to form the flower.
Luego con la aguja de crochet tejemos 12 cadenetas, en la segunda vuelta hacemos medios puntos así sucesivamente hasta completar la cuarta vuelta y formar un pétalo, necesitaremos 5 para formar la flor.
Then we make 4 chains we form a small circle and we have half points to catch the decorative stone, we put a touch of glue so that it does not move.
Luego hacemos 4 cadenas formamos un pequeño círculo y tenemos medios puntos para coger la piedra decorativa, ponemos un toque de pegamento para que no se mueva.
We proceed to fix the 5 petals with stitches in the center to form the flower. If you want you can reinforce with the needle and thread by making small stitches.
Procedemos a fijar los 5 pétalos con puntos en el centro para formar la flor. Si quieres puedes reforzar con la aguja y el hilo realizando pequeños puntos.
We continue to knit 4 chains and 5 rounds of single crochets to knit 2 circles.
Continuamos tejiendo 4 cadenetas y 5 vueltas de puntos bajos para tejer 2 círculos.
To finish we knit a long strip of thick chains, fold in half, fix the circles with a needle and thread at the ends and in the center the flower, so we have finished this elegant accessory for our home.
Para terminar tejemos una tira larga de cadenetas gruesas, doblamos por la mitad, fijamos los círculos con aguja e hilo en los extremos y en el centro la flor, así hemos terminado este elegante accesorio para nuestro hogar.
Friends, I hope that this proposal encourages you to give a new use to those plastic bags that go to the containers, and thus give them a new use by recycling them and turning them into these beautiful and elegant curtain holders that will surprise many and thus we contribute to take care of our environment.
