Hice mi propia versión Anime de una artista que posiblemente muchos de ustedes conozcan, personalmente me inspira mucho, su historia y todo lo que le llevó a ser una gran pintora es fascinante.
Frida Kahlo es una artista mexicana que además de inspirarme hoy para dibujar, también me inspire cuando estaba más pequeña a hacer un video para mi canal de youtube.

I made my own Anime version of an artist that possibly many of you know, personally she inspires me a lot, her story and everything that led her to be a great painter is fascinating.
Frida Kahlo is a Mexican artist that besides inspiring me today to draw, also inspired me when I was younger to make a video for my youtube channel.
Quise dibujarla a mi estilo porque en mi opinión personal, Frida es una artista cuya biografía puede inspirar mucho, como reflejaba sus sentimientos en cada uno de sus autorretratos, la historia que contaba cada uno de ellos, la escapatoria de una simple mujer a toda su problemática vida con una difícil enfermedad, lo que la hizo más fuerte ante todas las adversidades y la termino convirtiendo en una de las artistas más famosas del mundo, simplemente hoy quería expresar mi admiración a esta increíble artista.
I wanted to draw her in my style because in my personal opinion, Frida is an artist whose biography can inspire a lot, as she reflected her feelings in each of her self-portraits, the story that each of them told, the escape of a simple woman to all her troubled life with a difficult disease, which made her stronger against all odds and ended up making her one of the most famous artists in the world, just today I wanted to express my admiration to this incredible artist.

El Proceso
Comencé haciendo el círculo y las líneas guías, luego definí el rostro le hice las orejas y me di cuenta de que Frida Kahlo era una mujer que solía llevar mucha joyería, así que decidí hacerle unos aretes grandes.
The Process
I started by making the circle and the guide lines, then I defined the face, I made the ears and I realized that Frida Kahlo was a woman who used to wear a lot of jewelry, so I decided to make her some big earrings.
Starting the sketch / Iniciando el boceto
Después avance con el resto de la cara como los ojos, la nariz y la boca, y por supuesto sus icónicas cejas que son uno de los elementos por los que hoy en día se le identifica, comencé a hacer el peinado, (otra de las cosas que la identificaba mucho) y le agregue las flores que solía llevar en la cabeza.
Continúe con los hombros y finalicé detalles del fondo del boceto, luego empecé a pintar ese fondo de color verde y las flores en él, rosadas, al igual que las de la cabeza de Frida, pinté el cabello de negro y empecé a agregar el line art.
Then I moved on with the rest of the face like the eyes, nose and mouth, and of course her iconic eyebrows that are one of the elements by which she is identified today, I started to do the hairstyle, (another of the things that identified her a lot) and I added the flowers she used to wear on her head.
I continued with the shoulders and finalized details of the background of the sketch, then I started to paint that background green and the flowers on it, pink, just like the ones on Frida's head, painted the hair black and started to add the line art.
La verdad esta vez lo hice un poco desordenado, así que fui detallando un poco cada parte del dibujo y le agregué un color más oscuro a la parte de atrás de Frida, lo que generó profundidad a la imagen, después definí algunas flores y le agregué mi firma.
The truth this time I made it a little messy, so I was detailing a little each part of the drawing and I added a darker color to the back of Frida, which generated depth to the image, then I defined some flowers and added my signature.
