Let's Keep Up With The Meetups Hivers

Just this morning I realized that a long-time friend of mine Hive account@mcsamm has relocated to the Uk and by so doing he connected with Hivers in London. I was really amazed finding out that he also attended the just concluded meetup in the UK. This is so exciting how Hive can unite people and there are more exploits we can do by keeping up with the meetups. The last time I heard about a meetup on the Blockchain asides for Telos was while we were on Steemit. Thumbs up to everyone who made sure the gathering was a success and much love to Hive account@guiltyparties as I learnt he made it possible. I am hoping to travel to the UK soon but until then my duty is to keep informing Africans about how to join our ecosystem and what they will miss out on if they don't.

I am working on hosting a meetup very soon in the South-south part of Nigeria as I have been onboarding new users lately and also hoping they too onboard their friends so our ecosystem can grow bigger. Many talents have re-discovered themselves just by joining the a blogging platform powered by the blockchain like ours. A lot of people out there are going through rough times so having a sense of belonging could really be a sort of relief to them.

This post is to urge all Hivers to keep organizing this meetups as there are a pillar to the Hive ecosystem. From the pictures shared above and articles I have seen Hive account@adetorrent and Hive account@steevc were also in attendance at the meetup among a hot of others. Hive account@mcsamm has always been someone who has passion and zeal for creating awareness about Hive. We might not be from the same country as I hail from Nigeria, but his energetic moves towards promoting Hive has been a source of inspiration to other Hivers in Africa.

When I launched my Feed the Kid Initiative, I got support from Hivers and the love was massive, I was proud of myself being able to feed the poor and needy kids on the Street and also providing some of them with clothing materials, they thanked and blessed me as well as the Hivers who made that possible. I am planning another edition and this time, it will definitely be bigger and better.

Just recently, McSamm launched a borehole project to supply water to a community in his country Ghana and the project was powered by Hive ecosystem. That is just one of his numerous projects in Ghana powered by our dear ecosystem. I urge him not to relent in spreading word about Hive in Africa as that has really helped in promoting crypto adoption in Ghana and Africa as a whole. I am sure he has a team over there in Ghana who will help oversee the situation of things for him while he is away.

As for me, I am building a team of Hivers who I hope to handover the administrative role to when I travel out of Nigeria. My goal has always been to put smiles on people's faces and Hive has been a powerful tool which i have used to accomplish this. Being able to onboard over 1,000 users on Hive is still an achievement I am proud of and sincerely I wish to do more. Using other social media platforms to create awareness about Hive is how I was able to achieve that and most of the users referred by me are from Discord and Twitter. They get super-excited when I inform them that they can make cool bucks off blogging.

In 2020, I recored a Hip-hop song titled "Crypto Way" on which I mentioned Hive to help spread the gospel about our dear token. I call the song a Crypto anthem and you can listen to it on Audiomack then tell me what you feel about the song. It is a song that depicts the importance of investing in Crypto, the ethics and guidelines behind becoming a successful investor in the Crypto space. Most of you have listened to the song already and no one has ever condemned the song, but I think I will actually use Hive to promote the song more to get more listeners. Someday soon, I hope to perform the song in the UK to Hivers, Crypto lovers and the world at large. That is actually my vision. Click on link below to stream the music.

If Hive was not a wonderful place to be then I would have backed out long time ago. But here I am spreading word everyday about us and hopefully we will have an African mega meetup in the nearest future.
