Mammillaria spinosissima flowers
Endemica delle montagne del Messico centrale, la Mammillaria spinosissima si spinge anche oltre i 1700 m.s.l.m e come molte altre mammillarie presenta una copiosa fioritura che va a formare la tipica corona.
Endemic to the mountains of central Mexico, Mammillaria spinosissima goes even beyond 1700 m.s.l.m and like many other mammillarias it has a copious flowering that forms the typical crown.
Inizialmente pensavo che le due piante qui sotto fossero della stessa specie ma quella di destra presenta fiori leggermente più grandi e lo spinaggio apicale è a tratti uncinato cosa che non mi risulta nella Mammillaria spinosissima.

Initially I thought that the two plants below were of the same species but the one on the right has slightly larger flowers and the apical thorns is sometimes hooked which I do not find in Mammillaria spinosissima.
If you know the exact species, please let me know in the comments below.
