Love is a lot of work after the butterflies have long gone. Continous responsability. I agree that emotional inteligence is highly needed. Working on the empathy skills and making our brain focus on nourishing the bond between the two is vital. But I think that for the right people, it is worth the effort. Family is a pillar of society and love is the glue needed.
