Ok must of us have started the power down so it is less and the clock is ticking. Justin wanted to change the power down between 4 or 7 days and if he had managed to push that through who would be left on Steem?
I have been dropping some posts on Steem as I may as well whilst users that follow me are powering down as we can all make the extras with curation and posts. Looking at who is voting on my posts is basically the same who is voting me on Hive and we are all leaving, most of us it seems.
I did a pro Steem post saying Steem has legs to see if there was a difference in voting patterns as a pro Steem post is a rarity lol. No difference and that tells me there is no one around on Steem and everyone is now on Hive. Maybe I should have written my post in Chinese to make a better experiment and will have some fun trying that over the weekend. Weird when you have time on your hands you can experiment with all types of shit posts.I have never tried a multi language shit post though so it will be a first.
I think I will do another post once I have completed the experiment to see if it makes any difference and will add a Korean post with it as the users have to be somewhere around. It is a bit like Eskimo fishing and if you cut the hole in the ice at the wrong spot you get nothing. Now I need to find the fish if there are any is my question. The plan is to drop the same post in Chinese and then Korean to see if the results change or not.
The 13 weeks is keeping Steem afloat right now as if it was 1 week how many would be left? I find it funny that something Justin wanted to change is actually keeping Steem going right now.
The markets don't care that the Steem block chain is broken or is not working half the time as the ones on the exchange aren't obviously on Steem. The block chain and the value of the coin are totally separate for now except for when everyone is dumping. Does anyone know why the Steem value isn't dropping and is it being propped up by someone?
I read an article about Steem ran out of momentum after gaining 30 percent and laughed. All I could think of was everyone on here dumping as much as they could and no wonder it couldn't go up anymore. I must admit I couldn't believe my eyes when Steem was worth more than Hive and did my conversion very fast before any others jumped in.
When Hive launched and with my first power down I got about half of what I got today. Maybe just over half, but still that is a big difference and to think I was going to be happy with half again today.I am sure there are plenty of smiles on Hive today for whoever converted really scored big time.Who knows maybe it will go up some more and I sold it off too cheap and will be keeping an eye out next Friday hoping for more of the same.
