Just the Start And No One Wins

We are living in crazy times and the people need to stand up to the mob of thugs who want to remove the countries history.It starts with the small things like statues and then moves on to everything else that they can touch.

I know this as I experienced it first hand in South Africa after Apartheid disappeared. Statues are the obvious ones which are not major unless it is part of a tourist attraction. I know in London you have the adventurers who sailed the high seas like Drake and Cook. They found the new world yet for that they must now be put into a box.

We had a statue of Cecil Rhodes at the University in Cape Town dumped off its plinth. The guy calling the shots was a total disgrace as it turned out he was on a Rhodes Scholarship at the university . Talk about a hypocrite as he is willing to take the money, but kick him in the teeth at the same time. There are no morals with the youth of today and hope they screen all candidates for his scholarships going forward a little more carefully.

These idiots over the last few days are trying to get the Rhodes statue removed at Oxford now. Little do they realise that Mandela linked his name by joining the Rhodes Trust Scholarship adding his name to it as it is now known as the Mandela Rhodes Scholarship. I am not a fan of Mandela as in my mind any activist that has knowingly killed innocent people is a terrorist.

Road name changes will be next and this is actually a biggie in my book. i had lived in Durban for many years and all of a sudden from knowing everything like the back of my hand I was lost.I never learnt the new names and would always use the names I knew. A local shopping precinct main road had a name changed from Northway to Umkhonto Sizwe (spear of the nation) which was the terrorist army under Nelson Mandela. Things were changed on purpose to show who was in charge.

If everyone is not careful Libraries,Universities,Hospitals will all have forced name changes and it is like living in a new world. I know if I was living in the UK right now I would be out defending the rights by protecting what I could as I wouldn't mind a few swings myself at these protesters. Seriously that is right up my alley, but I must refrain. I could get rid of all my frustrations over the last 3 months and just keep a group aside for me on ice. I am normally not aggressive, but seeing police bending on one knee has made me slightly different these days.

What they have done over the last week has divided many communities and I believe long term racism is put back another 30 or 40 years because of it. The end result will be far worse than they could have imagined as there is a them and us now. I saw this all along as racism is everywhere around us from television adverts to films to just every day life. Every advert on television has to have a black person in it these days which is not normal as it shouldn't matter.This shows you what a sick world we are raising our kids and future generations as everything has become so touchy and this is not natural.
