Hello my farmer friends,
How are you all? My words might not reach to you as you are far away from technology or using any gadgets. The possibility is high that you already went to bed after whole day of work when I am writing this blog.
Today in this writing I will be sharing some related pictures of a real farmer at workplace. Here is the picture of a farmer during cutting grass for his cattle.
A farmer’s day starts from early in the morning when the sun rises. On the other hand we sleep at that time in AC room. After a tiring day he goes to bed after the sunset. At the same time we are busy with watching TV or spending time at club and say the night is still young!
Now sharing a video of a farmer when he was at work. He was cutting grasses with deep concentration and didn’t bother even that I was shooting video of the process. This video I have uploaded in YouTube.
Have you ever thought the next day morning when you will be going to market or a super shop, who will bring vegetables for you? How you will get liquid milk from cows? Yes, they are the farmers who produce and bring those for us.
You might think that I am paying what I am buying. Actually, are you paying the right price of the hard work a farmer does? I will come on this after this picture. Here the farmer is taking the grasses to his home what he gathered.
Let’s come to the answer of above question. The farmers are not getting the actual price what they deserve. It is told that the farmers are getting only 30% of a product price which the ultimate customer pay for it. To my opinion it is less than that. Then where the rest 70% money goes? Actually it goes to the unfair middleman. As a result the farmers are suffering and sometimes shifting their professions due to loss project.
Now sharing some pictures of mastered flowers. Mastered oil come from one kind of crop as well. It is a seasonal crop grown by the devoted farmers. During my visit I took these pictures.
All the above pictures might not represent the actual hard work of our farmers. These are the symbolic pictures which I captured during my short visit. But, in practical our farmers are not in a good shape in Bangladesh. Agriculture is one of the largest revenue sources after textile sector. So, we should not put this sector in danger rather patronize it. The government should take policy so that the farmers can get the right price of their products. That’s our wish. Last but not the least, my salute to the farmers for all their hard work.
Here all the pictures were captured using my iPhone 11 Pro Max mobile phone. Thanks for stopping by.
