Coffee always has its own story, this time I found a coffee plantation in one of the wild elephant conservation centers. Interestingly, according to coffee farmers in the region, these coffee thrive because the land is the center of the Sumatran elephant habitat that roams and does not disturb residents. Compost derived from elephant dung is a nutrient for coffee plants in the region. That's why this plant looks better in fertile areas and thrives.
Kopi selalu memiliki cerita tersendiri, kali ini saya menemukan sebidang kebun kopi di salah satu pusat konservasi gajah liar. Menariknya, menurut penuturan petani kopi di kawasan tersebut, kopi-kopi ini tumbuh subur dikarenakan lahan itu merupakan pusat habitat gajah sumatra yang berkeliaran dan tidak menggangu warga. Pupuk kompos yang berasal dari kotoran gajah menjadi nutrisi bagi tanaman kopi di kawasan tersebut. Sebeb itu pula tanaman ini tampak lebih bagus di kawasan tersubur dan tumbuh subur.

Coffee is one of the mainstay agricultural crops of residents in the district of Bener Meriah, Aceh province. The cool weather and suitable soil conditions for this plant make coffee as one of the belles of the Gayo community as a superior commodity and export.

This is a very valuable opportunity, to be in a coffee garden that thrives in the Sumatran elephant breeding area, in addition to being wary of the presence of an elephant that can suddenly appear at any time. Well, that is one of my stories about a coffee plantation in the Pintu Rime Gayo area which is a conservation area for Sumatran elephants in Aceh province.
Ini adalah salah satu kesempatan yang sangat berharga, berada di kebun kopi yang tumbuh subur di kawasan penangkaran gajah sumatra, selain was-was akan kehadiran gajah yang tiba-tiba dapat muncul kapan saja. Tanaman kopi yang subur menjadi salah satu panorama yang sangat indah dilihat oleh mata. Nah, itulah salah satu cerita saya tentang kebun kopi yang berada di kawasan Pintu Rime Gayo yang merupakan kawasan konservasi gajah-gajah sumatra di provinsi Aceh.
