The wild elephant handlers were so deft in herding the elephants they found, I witnessed a Mahot trying to tame a wild elephant bathing in the Das Peusangan area.
Not far from the river, a Das Peusangan conservation rescue unit (CRU) center was established as a center for handling wild elephants.
This is a pleasant experience, I spent two days there and adventuring with mahot to keep wild elephants in the area.
