Am sure you look up in the sky and wonder....how are clouds formed, most of us have been thought in school but there are most things they did but us through in that ......well i get on to it below
Clouds are formed through natural processes called water cycle. These steps are as follows
- Evaporation and transpiration : this is the most commonly known , water from rivers , lakes and ocean evaporates (rises) due to the sun heat. Surprisingly plants also release water vapor through a process called transpiration.
+Rising air: as this air moves up the pressure above decreases thereby causing the air to expand and cool of
Condensation: when the air cools of to its dew(mist) point, the water vapor condenses around tiny particles like dust or sea salt, forming tiny droplets.
Cloud formed: these tiny droplets now group together to form what we know as clouds and when these droplets start feeling to congested they release themselves leading to rain fall.
Did you know all this had an artificial method of creation.
Introduction of Cloud Condensation Nuclei (CCN): Cloud seeding involves the introduction of substances that serve as nuclei for condensation. Commonly used materials include silver iodide, potassium iodide, or sodium chloride.
Dispersion Methods: These materials can be dispersed into the atmosphere by aircraft, rockets, or ground-based generators. The choice of method depends on the desired altitude and weather conditions.
Condensation and Cloud Formation: The introduced nuclei provide additional surfaces for water vapor to condense upon. This enhances the cloud formation process, increasing the likelihood of precipitation.
Precipitation Enhancement: By increasing the number of droplets within a cloud, cloud seeding can encourage the formation of larger droplets, potentially leading to enhanced rainfall or snowfall.
Hope with this i have covered your thoughts on cloud creation.thank you for reading
