I have a challenge for you—a solar-powered well drilling robot. I am thinking that multiple robots would be working at the same time. They would pick up a load of dirt and transport it to a hopper that would take it away. They would go to a docking station to recharge their batteries and repeat. I recognize that there are easier ways to dig a well, but I am asking if someone could make robots like this work in areas like Chernobyl? The Russians dug holes in the "Red Forest."
They will need to fill the holes and potentially cover everything with clean fill at some point. Small robots that wouldn't cause too much dust could be the answer.
