It Has Been Five Years On Hive!
Powering Down For Hive NFTs
It has been a wild five years for me since I joined blockchain blogging. I can look back and yeah it feels like it has been ten years. Lots of cool experiences and lots of not so cool experiences just like life. In that period of time I lost everything, went to hell and back, then I got my health back and was given a new lease on life in ways.
Without rambling on about the traumas and the ecstasy I have experienced along the way, I will just give a minor update on things. I am powering down for Hive NFTs and getting a job. I will be posting very limitedly and still want to buy Hive NFTs!🤷 I just added the above thumbnailed NFT to my Hive collection from ! So yeah, I got a Hive NFT fever!
Storing The Compost Piles and Taking a Break From School
I do not have much to say or blog about for the time being. Right now I am focused on starting and keeping my new full time job. The Soil Food Web School was a very mentally satisfying experience. However, there is 0 job opportunities and yeah after spending over 14g in school expenses and living for the school I feel a bit exhausted and spent. I still got to pay the school another 3 grand usd and spend around 500-1000 usd in supplies as well as wait until Spring to continue. For now I will just take a much needed break. Currently, I am storing the compost piles in the greenhouse. I will tarp them this week and add some water gently as the sun will be out finally this week!
Going Back To Work Full-Time!
While I feel an idiot for expecting anything to come out of school other than an education, I am satisfied with what I learned so far and ready to finally go back to work. Anymore I just want to go to work and not face racism, vax requirements, mask mandates and be appreciated for my work and not discriminated against due to my gender. I found a company that appreciates my work experience and is 1.5 miles away from my house but even at 1.5 miles away, it is risky to ride my bicycle so I will probably just walk there due to icey road conditions.
Let Me See You Work, Work, Work
This is a job I really want to keep so I wont be posting about that work really at all. Not like I planned on doing with the work I was doing part time for the union I am apart of locally here in Eugene. Yes the Union I was apart of in Vegas, IATSE is out here in Eugene as well as most urban areas in the USA. Out here the work is more laborious and less stage craft oriented. Here in Eugene, Oregon we install plastic flooring over football fields, install and dismantle basketball floors, play security for Oregon Ducks Football games and occasionally do rock shows. It is a lot different than what I am used to doing workwise with IATSE in Las Vegas - @dynamicgreentk/jyexa6p5
I even found some party bags on site at work in the trash... No doubt some people followed dandays here to the States....
Thanks for stopping by and a fun five years on Hive! Time to go back to work full time finally after 5 years!
