Last Sunday, November 7, 2021, Iam with my friends climbed to the top of Mount Mongkrang which is located in Gondosuli Village, Tawangmangu District, Karanganyar, Central Java, Indonesia. The journey that I took from home by car to get to the foot of Mount Mongkrang took approximately 120 minutes, Mount Mongkrang has a height of 3,371 meters above sea level The climb from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain can be reached via Telogo Dlingo. And the time taken to climb to the top of the peak is 1 hour 2 hours. I and my friends hike in the afternoon at 17:00 and get there in the evening at 19:00. In the ascent I encountered Temple Hill 1 and Temple Hill 2, each hill showing a different view.
The hiking trail to the top of Mount Mongkrang is not so difficult, the trail is so good, no light is so heavy. For me who loves climbing, this can be a warm-up for us to climb higher mountains later. The Mongkrang mountain climbing route was only officially opened in 2019. And I am grateful that in 2021, I and my friends have managed to reach the top of this mountain. The peak of Mount Mongkrang has become a favorite of both beginners and advanced climbers. Because the peak of the mountain is so beautiful and the presence of weeds makes the scenery even more beautiful.
Arriving at the top of this mountain at night, I set up camp and immediately rested, and the next morning I woke up. In the morning when I woke up I was immediately treated to a view of the north that was so beautiful, to be precise it was the sunrise in the morning, the atmosphere I felt at that time was very warm in my body and in my soul, I even said to myself:
"How Beautiful This Nature Created by God Is, I Will Surround All This Natural Beauty"
I said that, because I was so amazed by the view of the sunrise that time, like I saw the sun directly and so close before my eyes.
In the morning before noon, I and my friends traveled home until we arrived at the foot of the mountain at 10:00 am. I'm grateful, I was able to return safely and was not injured anywhere.
