Yep, we have it all!
You just have get your butt and go there which is not easy when it gets hot. It is still a bit too far from the ocean to feel the nice cool from the water.
But the birds are great! On a good day I get to see Cormorants, Herons, Egrets, two types of seagulls and some of those little ones that run and look for food on the beach.
Here is a bunch of Ruddy Turnstones blending with the rocks. Dozens of them!
Some majestic Herons keep an eye on me from the distance.
Of course boats. There are always those smaller ones parked in the shallow water. Some look like they have not been used for years! This is one of the better looking ones :)
Some proudly open their sails and swim around.
In the far back you can see the absolutely beautiful 25 de Abril Bridge. Open to use in 1966. It has to layers - top for cars (6 lanes total) and bottom for train. If you go up on the big Christ statue you will hear a constant hum from it. I just wish they had room for people to walk on it. The view from up there is breathtaking!
Now we can only admire it from the shore or a ferry that swims across the river as well.
