Seems that spring is the right time for it too.
Another thing is the nasty virus that is visiting all the countries around and makes people to stay at home. Yea.... now that we better not go out, everything out there seem so much better :p. SO typical!
Fumaria capreolata
Just like this little weed I found blooming just a couple of weeks ago. One of the very early spring bloomers that I didn't expect to see actually. It is It is native to Europe, Asia and northern Africa. But can be also found in Australia, New Zealand, southern South America.
The plant stays close to the ground, but the stems can grow up to 1 meter long. Instead of growing up, it will crawl, branch and take over small areas.
The flowers are very small, but if you look closely, the shape is pretty cool. This white ones have dark tips, but they also come fully purple. Looks just as pretty.
