My Introduction to Hive Blockchain

hello everyone,

I am Faizaan Alam, a second-year B.Tech Computer Science Engineering (AI & ML) student at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, driven by a deep passion for technology, leadership, and creative expression. Currently, I am working as a Web Development Intern at 3Skills, where I build scalable full-stack applications using the MERN stack, design RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express, and manage databases with MongoDB.

Alongside this, I served as a Campus Ambassador for the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), representing institutional initiatives, promoting technical programs, and coordinating student engagement campaigns. I have also worked as an Internshala Student Partner (ISP) at Internshala, leading outreach initiatives, increasing student participation in trainings and internships, and strengthening my marketing, communication, and leadership skills.

One of my major technical projects is Talksy, a real-time video calling and chat application built using MERN, WebRTC, Stream API, Tailwind CSS, and DaisyUI. I developed the backend authentication system, messaging workflows, and video session handling while integrating scalable real-time communication features, which enhanced my understanding of distributed systems and real-time architecture.

In the Web3 domain, I built my own web-based crypto wallet, applying secure authentication concepts and understanding blockchain transaction flows. I am actively learning Solana development, smart contract fundamentals, and decentralized application architecture, with plans to build a blockchain explorer as my next milestone. Simultaneously, I am strengthening my foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms and exploring DevOps to master scalable deployments.

Beyond technology, I am passionate about filmmaking and cinematic photography, capturing creative visuals and storytelling through the lens. I enjoy writing songs, performing theatre, and expressing ideas artistically. I have participated in 100m and 200m sprint events, earning a bronze medal on Education Day, contributed through NSS activities, and was part of the college dance team during the Alumni Meet.

I am also committed to personal fitness and currently working toward building a lean, athletic physique as part of my discipline and lifestyle growth. With over 10 years of writing experience, I blend technical precision with creative expression. My vision is to become a Web3 developer building secure, scalable, and impactful decentralized systems.
