Today I am traveling and exploring to a village in the rural of the suburb where I live, a number of farmers seem to be preparing for their main harvest season. However, a number of farmers find it difficult to face a number of rice-eating birds, which are pests that often bother farmers when the harvest season approaches.
Hari ini saya melakukan perjalanan ke sebuah desa di pedalaman pinggir kota saya menetap, sejumlah petani tampak sedang mempersiapkan masa panen raya mereka. Namun sejumlah petani merasa keslitan menghadapi sejumlah burung pemakan padi yang merupakan hama yang sangat sering menyusahkan petani ketika musim panen hampir tiba.
Not losing their mind in dealing with these pests, a number of farmers agreed to install nets around their rice fields. Of course, the price is expensive for the harvest period, moreover, the price of a single roll of nets reaches IDR 100,000 rupiah. For just a patch of rice fields, the farmers have to reach their pockets up to IDR 500,000. However, this is one solution so that farmers' rice plants are safe until the harvest time arrives. So, that is my experience today of having the opportunity to explore a number of rice fields in my city.
Tidak kehilangan akal dalam menghadapi hama tersebut, sejumlah petanipun sepakat memasangkan jaring di seputaran sawah mereka. Tentu saja harga yang mahal untuk masa panen, apalagi harga jaring tersebut satu gulung mencapai IDR 100.000 rupiah. Untuk sepetak sawah saja petani harus merogoh kantong mereka hingga IDR 500.000,-. Namun hal itu salah satu solusi agar tanaman padi petani selamat hingga masa panen tiba. Nah, itualah pengalaman saya hari ini yang berkesempatan mengeksplore sejumlah kawasan persawahan di kota saya.
