We are only 3 days away from our first birthday in #hive, last year at this time I was living a period of anxiety quite strong because since the beginning of 2018 I had been immersed in Steemit and for a moment I felt on a precipice because of all the drama that was lived since February 2020, I could only think about how I would be able to continue supporting my son, in the middle of a country with an economy in such a bad state, in which I would surely have to go out to look for a job in another company that would not pay a salary according to my experience, and if we add to that the drama of the beginning of the quarantine, you can imagine the cocktail of emotions that I could feel.



At the beginning of March Hive account@blocktrades from its steemit account published what would be for me a new breath of fresh air and something that brought a lot of excitement, the official announcement of a new blockchain, which would also drag all the information we had already left in that bombarded blockchain. Many acquaintances told me that it would not work because they were creating a copy of the original, and endless things more, by the way, I ask them now what they think of #hive? and silence is present because certainly, Hive was responsible for shutting the mouths of many.

For those who follow me, it's no secret that Hive is what has helped me get My Mathias off the ground, and when I saw the stability I had broken, my fears set in. After #hive's birth, I simply have to say that life changed my life. In its beginnings as any newborn required a lot of love from those of us who were here and still continue, many left, many others continued here, our favorite games came with us to continue making our lives happy, the birth of new communities was present, and with them the arrival of new community leaders who have been doing an impeccable job.



Finding a niche in #hive is something that every day is easier and that has been achieved thanks to the true value given to the community because here it is the community that has been working together to keep us amalgamated contracting what is the true spirit of a hive.

Thanks to Hive I was able to get my own computer, as previously I was working from one that my brother had lent me, and shortly after the birth of #hive, my old pc passed away, likewise, I was able to get a better quality telephone equipment with which my publications have been improving and which has allowed me to explore other areas that previously I would not have imagined I could explore. Unfortunately for me, my work with the #Hive communities has diminished considerably, something that really gives me a lot of regrets, because working with communities is something I love to do, but the pandemic has had me teaching with My Mathias, which is something I had not contemplated hahaha, so I hope that once this madness passes, one of my favorite communities will allow me to return to exercise this work that I love so much.

Thanks to the income I have been generating throughout this year, I have been able to make some investments that allow me to have a little more independence and this is something for which I will be infinitely grateful because otherwise, it would not have been possible. I am sure that #hive changed the lives of a great number of people, as it has done for me. In September 2020 all of us at home were victims of Covid-19, from which we are still suffering some after-effects, and it was there where Hive played the most important role, because thanks to what I had saved here, I was able to cover everything that was medical expenses and medicines for me and my family, and when we find something or someone who does this kind of things for us and those we love, we simply never stop being grateful.

Our beloved #hive community and we are more than a blockchain, we are a united community that gives strength to this blockchain where we leave our ideas and even our lives; it has been the victim of attacks, mockery, even before its birth, and it has been the strength of its people that has continued building cubicles within this hive to support its foundations and make this an indestructible hive that every day is consolidated more. This has undoubtedly been a year full of successes and although it has not been perfect, it is the first of an infinite number of years to come, and I hope to be here to celebrate year after year.

I take the opportunity to congratulate Hive account@eddiespino, for his achievements within Hive, for Hive account@aliento that I know, has been his project for a long time and is now seeing the fruits of the hard work he has been doing, I must also congratulate Hive account@roadstories, who despite what many said, has proven to be a tireless worker in the service of the community, Hive account@victoriabsb for creating and maintaining active the community of mothers in which although I am not 100% active, I can see the reality of many mothers who like me have managed to balance Blogger life with motherhood, and likewise, thank each and every one of those who have struggled to keep our blockchain activities well on track, and who I would like to see at our next #MeetUp on the occasion of our first birthday, and if you ask me if I will be present, I will tell you that I just hope you tell me the time to be there present and share with so many wonderful people we have here.
