At that moment I said to myself if this girl says it is because it must be true, and I started again with a better vision of what I wanted and how I would do it.
Another thing I noticed about the people who were well rewarded is that most of them were part of some community, attended live healings, podcasts and events organized by them, that way they got to know each other and their content was taken beyond the page, then I also started to put that into practice, commenting on the publications of my dear

Hive account@cervantes, How good they were, the camaraderie between users and the ability to see the faces of the curators was really something great, in a short time I was beginning to receive good votes eventually in my publications, the truth is that this encouraged me a lot, I remember that the first time I received a vote from Hive account@cervantes the value of the currency at that time was almost 5 USD, and I got about 20 USD of the rewards of my publication and with that I could go to market as I had long time without being able to do, and then how not to get excited with such incentives?

On the economic side, let's say that this has been a great blessing, I live in Venezuela, a country where the crazy people are the ones who govern, and almost crazy are the rest of us who live in it, because the economy of this country is not easy at all, and it is one of the main reasons why I left a "normal" job to be behind a computer sharing my life, my recipes, my photographs and my madness with you. Let's just say that thanks to what I generate here plus what I can generate playing at

Hive account@dcity, and as much blockchain-based hive game as you can imagine, I've been able to support myself, my son and help my parents during all this time. To give you an idea of how much my love for this huge community is, because yes, Hive, more than a decentralized social network, is a community that made it possible for all of us to be here, approximately 4 months ago I was left without a phone and a computer, it was a hard few days for me because with these two tools I can generate income. Para dar mi testimonio sobre Hive es necesario saber un poco de mi historia antes de esto. Soy ingeniero industrial y antes de llegar al mundo blockchain del cual no tenía la más mínima idea (y que siendo sincera aun tengo mucho por conocer), trabajaba detrás de un escritorio con un cargo gerencial, devengando un salario que dejaba mucho que desear, haciendo peripecias apenas lograba comprar lo básico para mi pequeño hijo que en aquel entonces tenia apenas 8 meses. Mi hermano que siempre ha estado detrás de un computador me había comentado de paginas de ptc como kolotibablo y reCapcha, la verdad es que ya no quería seguir trabajando para otra persona y mucho menos pasar el día entero alejada de mi pequeño, así que decidí probar suerte, cosa que realmente no es que tuviera mucha, pero al menos me generaba algo. No fue hasta enero de 2018 que nos hablaron de una red social que te pagaba por tu contenido, ¡Demasiado bueno para ser verdad! Fue mi primera impresión, sin embargo, tanto el como yo decidimos probar suerte y solicitar una cuenta, la espera fue larga para mí, a el se la aprobaron casi de manera instantánea.
Cuando por fin obtuve mi cuenta, no tenía ni la más mínima idea de que podría escribir, la verdad es que nunca había tenido la experiencia de escribir como lo hago ahora, mi única experiencia escribiendo algo eran los informes para mis antiguos jefes, y esto no era para nada parecido a ese mundo, mis primeros post fueron un gran desastre, fui visitada por el antiguo Cheetah, un bot que te avisaba que estabas cometiendo plagio, esto me sucedió un par de veces, luego de algunos intentos fallidos de escribir algo decente y sin recibir nada de apoyo simplemente me di por vencida, estuve al menos un mes sin siquiera entrar en la plataforma, hasta que un día me puse a analizar a los que ya tenían mas tiempo y mas experiencia dentro de la plataforma, y casi todos tenían algo en común “constancia en sus publicaciones y contenido original”, un día me encontré un post de Hive account@gringalicious, sus publicaciones para mi eran de las mejores, sus fotografías espectaculares, pero al final de cada post ella hacia una reflexión donde decía que su primer post no alcanzo mas que unos centavos de dólar en recompensas, y en ese momento sus posts eran de los mejores votados, y eso solo se lo debía a la constancia. En ese momento me dije, si esta chica lo dice es porque debe ser cierto, y comencé de nuevo con una mejor visión de lo que quería y como lo haría.
Otra de las cosas que notaba de las personas que eran bien recompensadas es que en su mayoría formaban parte de alguna comunidad, asistían a la curaciones en vivo, podcast y eventos organizados por las mismas, de esa manera se conocían entre todos y su contenido era llevado más allá de la página, entonces comencé también a poner en practica eso, comentar en las publicaciones de mi querido Hive account@bert0, me ayudo muchísimo, tanto a conocer a otros como a conseguir algunos votos (lo se bertit0 lo sé, ya no voy a comentar en tus publicaciones como antes), comencé a frecuentar las curaciones en vivo de Hive account@cervantes, que buenas eran, la camaradería entre usuarios y el poder verles la cara a los curadores era realmente algo genial, en poco tiempo estaba comenzando a recibir buenos votos eventualmente en mis publicaciones, la verdad es que eso me alentaba mucho, recuerdo que la primera vez que recibí un voto de Hive account@cervantes el valor de la moneda en ese entonces era de casi 5 USD, y obtuve aproximadamente unos 20 USD de las recompensas de mi publicación y con eso pude ir a hacer mercado como tenia largo rato sin poder hacer, y entonces ¿Como no entusiasmarse con ese tipo de incentivos?

Luego llego a mi vida Hive account@repollo, este chico fresco y ocurrente que más adelante formaría una comunidad de la cual tuve la gran oportunidad de formar parte y conocer personas geniales, Hive account@eddiespino, Hive account@marijo-rm, Hive account@emperatriz1503, y muchísimas personas más, he tenido la oportunidad de conocer personas de otros países que en mi vida pude haber imaginado que conocería, y todo gracias a este maravilloso mundo. He conseguido establecer vínculos afectivos de amistad con personas realmente maravillosas, personas que han estado conmigo en momentos duros de mi vida, y que, si bien no están cerca como para un abrazo fraternal, están a un mensaje de texto de distancia, o de una llamada telefónica y esto es realmente bueno.
Por la parte económica, digamos que esto ha sido una gran bendición, vivo en Venezuela, un país donde los locos son los que gobiernan, y casi locos estamos el resto de los que vivimos en él, pues la economía de este país no es para nada fácil, y es una de las principales razones por las que deje un trabajo “normal” por estar detrás de un computador compartiendo mi vida, mis recetas, mis fotografías y mis locuras con ustedes. Digamos que gracias a lo que genero aquí mas lo que puedo generar jugando en Hive account@splinterlands, Hive account@dcity y cuanto juego basado en la blockchain de hive puedan imaginar, he podido mantenerme a mí, a mi hijo y ayudar a mis padres durante todo este tiempo. Para que tengan una idea de que tanto es mi amor por esta inmensa comunidad, porque si, Hive, mas que una red social descentralizada, es una comunidad que hizo posible que estemos todos aquí, aproximadamente hace unos 4 meses me quede sin teléfono y sin computador, fueron unos días duros para mi pues con estas dos herramientas es que puedo generar ingresos. Luego de pensar y pensar en como hacer para reponer estas cosas, tome la decisión de hacer un Power Down y de aquí mismo sacar el dinero que me ayudaría a continuar generando. Si, ese Hive Power que muchos se preguntan para que es y porque no puedo disponer cuando lo desee de él, es un seguro por así decirlo, es nuestro dinero y que además de ayudarnos a ayudar a los demás con nuestros votos puede como lo hizo conmigo, salvarnos la vida en determinado momento.
En conclusión, hoy después de 2 años y 7 meses en esta maravillosa travesía, puedo decir que estoy más enamorada que cuando la conocí, que aunque el precio de su moneda no es ni la mitad de lo que era cuando llegue aquí, le amo más que en ese momento, que gracias a Hive y a sus juegos descentralizados mi hijo, mis padres y yo podemos comer, vestirnos e incluso darnos algunos pequeños lujos en este país de locos, y también puedo decir que no cambio a Hive por nada del mundo.
