Welcome,
My name is George Antoine Al Haddad. I’m 35 years old and I live in Beirut, Lebanon. I work as an accountant at Khatib Audit and a job I’ve been doing for several years and I’m proud to apply my skills and experience in numbers and financial auditing. But like many Lebanese people I haven’t been spared from the tough challenges our country has faced in recent year which pushed me to look for extra ways to earn an income.
When the economic crisis and financial collapse hit Lebanon I slowly started exploring the world of freelancing and online work. During the COVID-19 pandemic as working from home and I found even more reason to dive deeper into this space. That’s when I discovered the world of cryptocurrencies a fascinating but risky space that opened new doors for me.
Unfortunately, things got even worse last year with the outbreak of war and which added more pressure on everyday life. I began looking more seriously for online platforms where I could write and earn at the same time. That’s how I recently found Hive and a blockchain based community where people can share their thoughts and content while earning rewards. I believe I’ve found a great space where I can express myself and share my experiences and hopefully generate some extra income to help navigate these difficult times.
Through this work that I hope to be a voice that shares the real picture of what we as Lebanese citizens are going through. I truly believe that by sharing our stories and experiences, we can build bridges with people around the world and highlight the challenges we face and keep the spirit of hope alive despite everything.

مرحبًا، اسمي جورج أنطوان الحداد، أبلغ من العمر 35 عامًا وأعيش في بيروت، لبنان. أعمل كمحاسب في شركة خطيب للتدقيق، وهي وظيفة أمارسها منذ عدة سنوات وأشعر بالفخر لأنني أستطيع من خلالها تقديم خبرتي ومهاراتي في مجال الأرقام والتدقيق المالي. لكن كغيري من اللبنانيين، لم أكن بمنأى عن الظروف الصعبة التي مرت بها بلادنا في السنوات الماضية، والتي دفعتني إلى البحث عن طرق بديلة للدخل.
مع بداية الأزمة الاقتصادية والانهيار المالي الذي ضرب لبنان، بدأت أتجه تدريجيًا إلى عالم الفريلانس والعمل عبر الإنترنت. وخلال فترة جائحة كورونا، عندما أصبح العمل من المنزل أمرًا واقعًا، ازدادت حاجتي للاستفادة من هذا المجال أكثر، فتوجهت إلى تعلم المزيد عن الفرص الرقمية، ومن هنا تعرفت على عالم العملات المشفرة. لقد كان هذا العالم جديدًا ومثيرًا بالنسبة لي، لكنه أيضًا مليء بالتحديات والمخاطر.
ومع الأسف، ازدادت الأوضاع سوءًا خلال السنة الماضية بسبب الحرب التي ألقت بظلالها الثقيلة على حياة الناس هنا، وجعلتني أبحث بشكل أعمق عن مصادر دخل جديدة. بدأت أستكشف منصات ومواقع يمكنني من خلالها كتابة المقالات والنشر والربح في الوقت نفسه. وهكذا تعرفت مؤخرًا على موقع Hive، وهو مجتمع ومنصة تعتمد على البلوكتشين تتيح للناس مشاركة أفكارهم ومحتواهم والحصول على مكافآت مقابل ذلك. أعتقد أنني وجدت مكانًا رائعًا أستطيع من خلاله التعبير عن نفسي، مشاركة قصصي وتجربتي، وربما أيضًا تحقيق دخل إضافي يساعدني في هذه الظروف الصعبة.
أتمنى من خلال عملي هذا أن أكون صوتًا ينقل الصورة الحقيقية لما نمر به كمواطنين لبنانيين. أؤمن أن مشاركة تجاربنا وقصصنا يمكن أن تساهم في بناء جسور تواصل مع الآخرين حول العالم، وتسلط الضوء على التحديات التي نواجهها والأمل الذي لا يزال يعيش في قلوبنا رغم كل شيء.
