MY INTRODUCTION TO THE HIVE COMMUNITY

Hello everyone my name is Okweri-Eric Odomero Golden I am new here. I feel most people might find my name strange so let's just stick with Golden. So, I'm from Delta State, Nigeria and I am in my final year in secondary school (yes, I'm still a high schooler). If you've stayed in Nigeria, you would guess that I'm from some over religious family and if you guessed that, well you guessed correctly. I grew up (and I actually still stay with them) in a Christian family. But I wouldn't really use the term “over religious” , we're not like religious fanatics or anything like that, we just take our religion very very seriously. You will be shocked to see what people would do all in the name of being religious. But that's a story for another day. I almost forgot I was introducing myself 😂😂😂. I'm reserved and can be an extroverted depending on my mood and how comfortable I am with the person.

About my username Golden06, in case you're thinking, why 06? Is it just two random numbers? Is it of any significance to you? Well that's my birthday. And why is it part of my username? I added it because I wanted that date to be my trademark.... 😂😂 Actually that's a lie, I just choose it because it was the first thing that came to mind while we were trying to create an account because Golden was already taken by another user (and by we, I mean me and my teacher Hive account@officialuroga). But that's the day a gift was given to the world (and by gift, I mean me 🤗🤗🤗).

I was introduced to this platform by my teacher Hive account@officialuroga (he's the one who assisted me in opening this account). Originally, my teacher was trying to help us get better in our writing since we are preparing for our WAEC examination, he told us he would be dropping different topics so we can write on them, and the best one, he would share on his blog. Then he took special interest in my write up (which he uploaded on his blog some time back) and he decided he wants to help me improve my writing. I couldn't refuse the offer (it was a really really nice offer). So, that's how I got here. All thanks to my wonderful teacher.

Initially my plans in this platform was just to improve my writing (which is my newest hobby), but then I started thinking I can actually influence people's thoughts on different issues with my writing. And I realized since I'm not really good at expressing myself verbally, I can finally bring my views out to the world in writing. Apart from improving my writing, I want to share with everyone here on the platform how I see things. I would love to introduce you guys to my world and how I feel sometimes in this world of mine that I have build in my mind. Join me as I give you a glimpse into my world.
