Hay un dicho por allí que más o menos relata algo así “el ser humano siempre regresa a donde fue feliz” y que es que la felicidad es un sentimiento muy lindo, se trata de un estado de ánimo en el que nos sentimos plenamente satisfechos por poseer lo que deseamos. A partir de hoy quiero llevarlos conmigo a vivir una experiencia que aunque no es nueva igualmente genera mucha satisfacción y es que llegamos a la temporada de actos de grado y específicamente hoy fue mi ensayo de firma y acto solemne de grado.

From today I want to take you with me to live an experience that although it is not new, it also generates a lot of satisfaction and that is that we have reached the season of graduation ceremonies and specifically today was my signing rehearsal and solemn graduation ceremony.

Hace casi diez años me tocó experimentar la dicha de recibir mi título como Profesora en la Especialidad de Física, en mi querída alma mater, la universidad de los maestros, la Universidad Pedagógica experimental Libertador – Instituto Pedagógico de Barquisimeto Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa sin lugar a duda uno de los días mas importantes de mi vida y creo que para toda aquella persona que con mucha dedicación y sacrificio se ha formado en una carrera universitaria, ya que es el día en el que por fin vez materializado un sueño.
Almost ten years ago I experienced the joy of receiving my degree as a Physics Teacher, in my beloved alma mater, the university of teachers, the Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador - Instituto Pedagógico de Barquisimeto Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa, without a doubt one of the most important days of my life and I believe that for every person who with a lot of dedication and sacrifice has been trained in a university career, since it is the day when a dream finally comes true.
Ahora me toca volver a vivir la experiencia, pero esta vez a recibir titulo de maestría y es que para quienes no sabían, hace poco presente mi trabajo de grado final para optar al título de Magister en Educación Mención Investigación Educacional; y ahora me corresponde al igual que hace diez años atrás recibir mi título en un acto solemne de grado y comienza con el ensayo de acto y firma de grado, pero ¿De qué trata un ensayo de acto solemne de grado?
Now it is my turn to live the experience again, but this time to receive my master's degree, and for those who did not know, I recently presented my final degree work for the title of Master of Education in Educational Research; and now it is my turn, just like ten years ago, to receive my degree in a solemn act of degree and it begins with the essay and signing of the degree, but What is a solemn act of degree essay about?
Bueno el mismo consta de la organización y protocolo que se debe manejar tanto el día de la firma, como el día del acto. Primero llaman a todos los graduandos y entran al auditorio, luego los organizan en el puesto que tendrán el día del acto, te asignan un número el cual se trata de tu ubicación, con el mismo ubican los documentos medallas y titulo (es importante no olvidar ese número); después de todo eso llega el maestro de ceremonia quien explica a detalle todos los movimientos protocolares, como sentarse, levantarse, en qué momento se aplaude, como levantar la mano en la juramentación; de igual manera se ensaya la manera de saludar a las autoridades y como se debe retirar el birrete al momento de recibir la medalla y el titulo.

Otros de los aspectos que se manejan en el ensayo de grado es informar quienes serán los graduandos que tendrán el privilegio de realizar el discurso final (1er promedio de la promoción) y quien realizara la petición de títulos (2do promedio de la promoción), así como los escoltas quienes son las personas que alcancen 3ero, 4to, 5to y 6to promedio de la promoción. Cabe destacar que al momento de ingreso de las autoridades de la Universidad los graduandos que se encuentran sentados en las esquinas de las filas, conformaran el pasillo de honor y este procedimiento también se ensaya.
Finalmente, cuando ya todo queda claro, se dan las orientaciones generales como puntualidad, queda prohibido el uso de teléfono celular, no se puede ingerir ningún tipo de comida o bebida, solo se debe aplaudir y al momento de la salida se entregan los pases de entrada para los familiares, los cuales son dos por graduandos.
