Passing by this little ice covered beach today when we where out driving and did some some errands. As usual when I drive a little bit away from home the camera is with me. The light was quite nice, not the biggest contrast, but exciting enough to take a closer look. Anyway it was fun to stroll around the beach trying to get some ok frames.
The little bay with beach from a distance. On this little piece of land I managed to spend 30-40 minutes.
A touch of sun in the distance.
The ice, snow and water made interesting (for those who like that sort of things :-) patterns as I tried to use in the pictures as leading lines and to give perspective in the pictures.
I like the reflection of the sky in this little pond on the ice. Earlier today there had been high tide. Then all the ice was floating on the water.
A couple of boathouses, a traditional building to house small boats. Red buildings like this are scattered around every fjord in northern Norway. From the left in the pictures flooding a little stream out to the sea.
This picture above is a panorama stitched together with three pictures.
The stripe of sand between the ice and land marks the line of high tide. When I was on the beach there was low tide.
Hope you liked this little piece of ice, water and snow in northern Norway.
Best regards
