I arrived in Colombia, as do thousands of immigrants on February 5, 2019, and from that day on, that I set foot in this country I focused on work and hence the idea of re-publishing in Steemit.
Llegué a Colombia, como lo hacen miles de imigrantes un 5 de Febrero del 2019, y desde ese día, que puse un pie en este país me enfoqué en trabajar y de allí la idea de volver a publicar en Steemit.
My day begins very early in the morning, as here the water is very cold, and I have no heater I have to live water to bathe, I do not get used to the cold temperature of the water here, because I come from the hottest city of Venezuela, (Maracaibo), I prepare a light breakfast, and I take my inevitable coffee, to finish waking up, follows my ritual of makeup, which for me is very important, the presence plays a great role in my work as a dentist in a very prestigious clinic.
Mi día comienza muy temprano en la mañana, como acá el agua es muy fría, y no tengo calentador me toca heivir agua para bañarme, no me acostumbro a la temperatura tan fría del agua de aquí, por que vengo de la ciudad más caliente de Venezuela, (Maracaibo), preparo un desayuno ligero, y tomo mi infaltable café, para terminar de despertarme, sigue mi ritual de maquillaje, que para mí es muy importante, la prescencia juega un gran papel en mi trabajo como Odontóloga en una clínica muy prestigiosa.
To get to my work on time, I use a bicycle taxi, I don't live very far away, I'm only 8 blocks away, but the ride is a lot of fun, when I arrive, my assistant is preparing everything for the work day, while I put on my uniform.
Para llegar a mi trabajo a tiempo, uso una bicitaxi, no vivo muy lejos estoy a unas escasas 8 cuadras, pero el paseo es muy divertido, al llegar, pués está mi asistente preparando todo para la jornada de trabajo, mientras me coloco mi uniforme.
This is how my day goes from 9:30am to 8:00pm, where I attend my cited patients, the emergencies and cases that arrive from where I get my material to make my publications, and between one patient and another I publish the day's post.
Así transcurre mi día desde las 9:30am a 8:00pm, donde atiendo mis paciente citados, las urgencias y casos que llegan de donde obtengo mi material para realizar mis publicaciones, y entre uno y otro paciente publico el post del día.
At the end of the day on some occasions, I go to the Centro Mayor shopping centre, to walk, to distract myself, after a week of uninterrupted work, so I get home to prepare for a new day full of expectations and new challenges.
Al terminar la jornada en algunas ocasiones, voy al centro comercial Centro Mayor, a caminar, distraerme, después de una semana de trabajo ininterrumpido, así llego a mi casa para prepararme para un nuevo día lleno de expectativas y nuevos retos.
I must thank first God and then this country that received me with open hands, which has helped me to meet the needs of my family in Venezuela, it is not easy to be an immigrant, but giving the best of me in what I do, makes a difference.
Debo darle las gracias primero a Dios y luego a este país que me recibío con las manos abiertas, que me ha ayudado a solventar las necesidades de mi familia en Venezuela, no es facíl ser imigrante, pero el dar lo mejor de mí en lo que hago, marca la diferencia.
