Animals of the genus Quetzalcoatlus, which includes pterosaurs, are the longest-winged flying creatures known to date. Analyzing their fossils, paleontologists have speculated that some of them, such as the Quetzalcoatlus northropi, had wingspan of about 36-40 feet or 11-12 meters. Whereas, the wingspan of American made F-16 fighter jet is 9.9 meters.
