2 weeks ago, I bought a new 2021 model Samsung Washer-Dryer at the store. I've always wanted an automatic washer that could literally just dry my clothes without me doing the hard work cos laundry takes so much time and I have better things to do than ending up doing it the whole day. :p

I bought the 7.5 kg one which cost Php 38,995 or almost $800. I was expecting to only spend around $400-$600 but since this is the cheapest and the latest model, the price didn't matter that much to me.
I specifically want the front load (and not top) cos they said it's better and at the same time it saves you some space by having a chance to put something on top lol. It saves more water, cleans the clothes better, and energy efficient too.
I also specifically looked for ones with steam feature as having those can obviously dry out the clothes and they can serve as bacteria killers (because it's hot hehe).
Specs
This washer comes with great features which also made me buy it on the spot. It has:
- Eco bubbles
- Hygiene Steam
- Add Wash
- Can be control with the Smart Things app
- Air wash
- Inverter
Basically all the things needed are here which is really amazing lol. For a detailed one, just visit the website.
Trying it out!
In the house, there's no fence so the security is not-that-great although it is in a gated community. The washers should be placed outside at the back part of the house as a default but since I have no fence and the washer also will get wet during rain, I decided to just put it inside (since that's also one of its purpose lol).
The plug and the water supply is right at the opposite side of that wall. I just placed the washer beside the door and everytime I use it, I just plug both the electricity and water supply there which was easy to do BUT of course I can't close the door haha. So everytime I use it, I have to be downstairs to check on it from time to time for security purposes and so the dog won't also go out.
The biggest problem that I have is the drainage. It's too short so I have to improvise and find ways for it not to flood the room xD. I will eventually have it extended tho, like put another tube.
I also was catching the dirty water in a pail so I could use it to clean outside where the dog poop and pees. I have saved a lot of water in that case.
Upon turning it on, those cleaning options appear. To change it, you have to turn the knob. It's kinda weird cos the washer has a modern design except for this knob that looks like it came from the 80s * rolls eyes *. Like bruh come on lol.
Here's the detergent drawer. The one at the left is where the detergent soap goes, middle is fabric conditioner, and at the right is bleach and other stuff you also use besides detergent.
This is the add wash feature. Basically when you forget to add something and the cycle had already started, you can just pop that open and put it there. You can't open the door as water will leak so for safety, it is always locked while the cycle is ongoing.
You can also connect the washer to the Samsung app called Smart Things. You can monitor the status, control the cycles, and it notifies you when it already finished doing what it's supposed to do. xD I think controlling it on the app is better than doing it on the actual machine itself even though the app can be slow sometimes.
After the washer has finished, it's kinda ridiculous that it plays a song xD. Samsung washer owners know this and I find it weird haha cos it SHOULD finish the song. Like, they could just make it beep like three times but instead it forces you to listen to the song.
Here's the song if you're curious lol:
Overall it's a great investment and I'm really glad for the purchase. It saves a lot of my time so I can just focus on taking care of the dog, learning new skills, and earning money to make up for the purchase haha.
The price was totally worth it. :3
