Hello OCD Community! First of all, thank you for giving us the opportunity to introduce ourselves here. This may be late for me as I'm not really so new here on Hive but I never introduce myself here on OCD Community. I did one this afternoon on Asean Hive Community but not sure if readers have read it yet 🙈.
Back on track.
My name is @Jane from the Philippines and I'm 32 years of age (says the birthdate beside my name), standing proud at 5'3", haha. Single and not ready yet to mingle, lol. I guess I have some Philophobia.
Moving on...
Writing wasn't my forte when I was younger. In fact, I hated making essays when I was in secondary school. Who likes writing stories up to 3 pages and back to back anyway? Does the teacher even read them? My classmates and I always asked each other. But all we know was, the longer the essay, the higher the grades, lol.
But I do love listening to music and it sometimes inspires me to write short poems or stories. Sometimes even humming songs are created in my mind but I would easily forget the melody I made. Have you ever done that? And don't ask me what songs I composed in my mind because I already forgot them, haha.
So when did I start blogging?
It was June 2020 when I was looking for platforms on Facebook where I can earn extra cash. Then I came across a post about a crypto-blogging platform where I can earn a cryptocurrency. Seriously, I was a noob in crypto back then and what I only knew was Bitcoin and Ethereum. And the payout on that platform was Bitcoin Cash. I even thought it was the same with Bitcoin. Only to find out that they aren't and there are thousands of cryptocurrencies in the cryptoverse.
So the name of the crypto-blogging platform was read.cash. You can blog there too if you want. Instant BCH once the bot notices your work.
But I owe this platform a lot. Because of this, I learned much about cryptocurrencies and other stuff regarding blockchain and this cryptoverse. I created my portfolio with the help of Bitcoin Cash and read.cash. At the same time, I developed my skills in writing. Until writing became my forte and hobby. And it became part of my daily routine.
Moreover, I learned about other crypto blogging platforms because of read.cash. I found out that there are a lot of crypto-powered blogging platforms in this digital space, such as Publish0x, Steemit, and this platform LeoFinance together with Hive of course as I registered on LeoFinance through Hive chain. That was 8 months ago.
I stopped posting on LeoFinance though 7 months ago as I find it tough to manage more than one platforms at the same time while working in the real world.
But I never explored Hive before. Until recently, my readcash friends kept on mentioning Hive in their articles and I opted to visit my account here and extended my crypto journey here again. Thanks to @FarmGirl @CoquiCoin and more. I was inspired to continue my journey here.
Okay that was enough. Then may I introduce a lil bit about my life.
I'm currently working here in Hong Kong as Private Caregiver for more than 4 years now and I'm expecting to see my beloved country again next year.
I love traveling like Dora the Explorer and I love photography too.
Most especially, I love being close to nature as it becomes my escape from this chaotic world and bustling city where I live in.
It's Autumn Season now! Do you love it? It's my favorite season of the year as well as Spring. The foliage is just so magical and nostalgic that would make you feel a euphoric sense of excitement to see and witness the transition of the Autumn in the mountains.
Hong Kong is such a pretty place that anyone could not resist to explore every corner of the city. From the skyscrapers in the main cities, to mountains, and temples.
And of course, who doesn't like the beaches? There are a plethora of beautiful beaches here.
So you could tell that I love to travel, most especially be close to nature and visit calming places away from bustling city.
And there's always stories to tell in every place I visit that would remain indelible in my memory and I could write down in my blogs. 😁
