Good evening from South East Nigeria, Enugu State to be precise.
My name is Ihemeje JESSICA C. I’m a graduate of Medical Laboratory Science and currently an intern at Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
Apart from academics, I’m a part time content writer and social media assistant/manager on some days. Am I a perfect writer?
That I can’t say for sure but I’ll let you the community members be the judge of that. I can be quite vast with my writing as I tell short stories on some days and on some days just quotes. I intend to write more self-help books in future.
When did I join HIVE?
I joined HIVE on the 9th of January, 2023. A friend told me about HIVE when I mentioned not having a platform I could share my works and I’m so thankful he did.
I like to think I’m a sensitive person and deeply in touch with my humanity. I love people with depth. I also write short notes for couples or loved ones when people need help with that.
Enough about me, I’ll let my work tell my tale.

The fact that HIVE is a platform that allows people express their art in the purest of forms. It’s a platform that makes you feel a sense of belonging, you find your people, people who think like you in some sort.
What I hope to achieve with HIVE.
With HIVE, I hope to share my art in every form and I hope people get to feel safe or found through that. My writing has always been a way to tell people “you’re not alone, I get it and I got you, you’d be just fine”. And I hope HIVE gives me the opportunity to be able to say that out loudly in its truest form.
Why do I prefer HIVE to other platforms?
I’ve been able
to look through some community pages and I must applaud the authenticity of the contents on HIVE. You can see how original it is, coming from the writer or artist.
There’s so much plagiarism in other platforms and that gives you a fear to put out your art.
Also with HIVE, you can see the level of engagement and love people show your content and if that isn’t enough encouragement, I don’t know what is.
