So this is officially the first trip I'm taking to my college since everything was locked down and everyone had to stay at home. I took this trip because I wanted to go to my house off campus, take care of my things, get some few change of clothings and well see a few friends as well who are etched up staying in their houses when the lockdown was enacted. I had left earlier and I couldn't help but notice the change in almost everywhere. The change however is that there hasn't been any form or rainfall in 2 months and people are now wearing nose masks.
However what didn't change is that people are still plenty in market places or public transport stations. There's definitely not much cases of Corona virus in Nigeria and this can be proven in how people still stick close to themselves in public places wearing their make below their neck and yet they still go home healthy and return two weeks without the virus.
Truth is, Nigeria is an overpopulated country and this is because we have little resources for the number of people that are a available this makes some people surplus to requirements hence poverty, lack brought about by unemployment.
Most people do not even adhere to the nose mask guideline except they're using public transport or going to events where there might be government officials. So what changed was the difference in how the road to my college use to look like and what didn't change was the people are still clustered in market places and Nigeria could have been zombie land should the rate of Corona virus be that serious like it use to be in places like Italy. So this pictures entails majorly how I used public transport popularly called BRT.
In the photos, I used BRT to travel simply because it was cheaper and more comfortable than private transportation and after getting to college, I settle for pepper soup which had this sort of goat meat. Of course you could see that I was wearing my socks because it was dusty and I was posing with my bag. I love photography, it's been an integral part of me since I started blogging on the chain and basically it's been something I've relied on to express myself differently. So here you have it my picture story on my trip to college. What do you think?
