Hola, Mi nombre es José Vicente Ruiz, Nací el 14 de septiembre del 2007 en el estado Bolívar. A los 3 años de edad mi familia y yo nos mudamos al estado Mérida y desde muy pequeño siempre me ha Llamado la atención la música en especial la percusión, a los cuatro años mis padres me inscribieron en el Sistema Nacional De Orquestas y Coros Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela comenzando desde Quinde Musical. En esa etapa yo siempre era el que tocaba los tambores y todo lo relacionado con percusión. Una de las tantas experiencias que he vivido en este campo musical y que recuerdo con mucho cariño. Un año después me inscribí en percusión, ahí estuve durante 4 años estudiando este maravilloso sonido e instrumento ¡la percusión me encantaba! fue tanta la obsesión con la percusión que yo en mi casa armaba una batería con bloques y comenzaba a tocar con unos palos como si fuera una batería de verdad, en ese tiempo llegue a tocar en la orquesta infantil del Estado Mérida y en el Ensamble de Percusión infantil de ese estado.
Hello, My name is José Vicente Ruiz, I was born on September 14, 2007 in the state of Bolivar. When I was 3 years old my family and I moved to the state of Merida and since I was very young I have always been interested in music, especially percussion. When I was four years old my parents enrolled me in the National System of Orchestras and Youth and Children's Choirs of Venezuela starting from Quinde Musical. At that stage I was always the one who played the drums and everything related to percussion. One of the many experiences that I have lived in this musical field and that I remember with much affection. A year later I enrolled in percussion, there I was for 4 years studying this wonderful sound and instrument, I loved percussion! I was so obsessed with percussion that at home I put together a drum set with blocks and began to play with some sticks as if it were a real drum set, at that time I got to play in the children's orchestra of the State of Merida and the Children's Percussion Ensemble of that state.
Luego nos mudamos a Cumana donde seguí estudiando percusión, pero un día, cuando estaba yo saliendo de la escuela. un llega un profesor del sistema de orquestas a dar clases de Cuatro en la escuela donde yo estudiaba y me dio curiosidad por el instrumento, quería aprenderlo y me inscribí. Me gustó mucho, era algo diferente, lo estudiaba y tocaba todos los días, cada clase que el profesor me daba yo la practicaba hasta aprenderla de memoria y llegaba a la próxima clase sabiéndome lo que él nos enseñó y con dos clases más que aprendí por mi cuenta. Luego comenzó la pandemia y desde aquel Entonces no he tenido otro profesor del instrumento. Yo solo me he formado y he aprendido. Actualmente tengo 15 años de edad, aun sigo en el sistema Nacional de Orquestas como percusionista y cuatrista solista de la selección A del programa Alma Llanera. Todo este aprendizaje me llevó a formar parte del récord Guinness de la orquesta más grande del Mundo. Otra de esas tantas experiencias que a mi poca edad he obtenido. He tenido la oportunidad de compartir tarima con el maestro Ignacio rondón y otros grandes artistas de la ciudad como, por ejemplo, Jorge Glem quien ha sido una gran inspiración para muchos amantes del Cuatro como yo. Todo lo que ha hecho y ha logrado con el Cuatro Venezolano me inspira a seguir estudiando y practicando todos los días sobre el instrumento lo cual no me molesta, me gusta y apasiona seguir estudiando.
Then we moved to Cumana where I continued studying percussion, but one day, when I was leaving school, a teacher from the orchestra system came to give Cuatro classes at the school where I was studying and I got curious about the instrument, I wanted to learn it and I signed up. I liked it a lot, it was something different, I studied it and played it every day, every class the teacher gave me I practiced it until I learned it by heart and I arrived at the next class knowing what he taught us and with two more classes I learned on my own. Then the pandemic started and since then I have not had another teacher of the instrument. I have only trained and learned on my own. I am currently 15 years old, I am still in the National Orchestra System as a percussionist and soloist cuatrist of the A selection of the Alma Llanera program. All this learning led me to be part of the Guinness record of the largest orchestra in the world. Another of those many experiences that at my young age I have obtained. I have had the opportunity to share the stage with Maestro Ignacio Rondón and other great artists of the city, such as Jorge Glem, who has been a great inspiration for many Cuatro lovers like me. Everything he has done and achieved with the Venezuelan Cuatro inspires me to continue studying and practicing every day on the instrument, which does not bother me, I like it and I am passionate about continuing to study.

Veo esto como una oportunidad de surgir en el mundo musical, dar a conocer mi talento como cuatrista y percusionista, me gusta mucho la idea de poder grabar videos tocando diferentes instrumentos de percusión, la idea de poder hacer covers de canciones en el cuatro y poder recibir opiniones de diferentes personas, me emociona mucho. También la idea de poder compartir con todos ustedes, ver sus videos demostrando sus talentos y yo también poder subir los míos y seguir aprendiendo sobre los instrumentos que ejecuto y por supuesto, de ustedes.
I see this as an opportunity to emerge in the musical world, to make my talent known as a cuatrist and percussionist, I really like the idea of being able to record videos playing different percussion instruments, the idea of being able to cover songs on the cuatro and being able to receive opinions from different people, I'm very excited. Tuve la oportunidad de asistir a un evento llamado Hive Music Festival live in Cumana el cual fue organizado por la comunidad Musiczone liderada por Edwards tobia donde se conversó un poco de esta blockchain y donde tuve la oportunidad de compartir tarima con grandes músicos de la ciudad que, a su vez, forman parte de este gran ecosistema. Desde ese día nacieron mis ganas de formar parte de esta colmena y espero poder integrarme poco a poco a esta gran familia.
I had the opportunity to attend an event called Hive Music Festival live in Cumana which was organized by the Musiczone community led by Edwards Tobia where they talked a little of this blockchain and where I had the opportunity to share stage with great musicians of the city that, in turn, are part of this great ecosystem.
