Tokyo Study Trip Episode 5:
Day 5 - Sunday 30 July 2017
It’s the last day to enjoy as a tourist before school starts the next day. So it shall be a relaxing itinerary- my favourite combination of cafe + shopping. 😍
Decided to have my brunch at the beautiful Flower Cafe Kazahana at Omotesando. I discovered this hidden gem by chance on a previous trip (https://jrvacation.com/flower-cafe-kazahana-tokyo/) and since then, always try to revisit it whenever I’m in Tokyo. Absolutely delighted to see the sunflower theme during this period! That’s my favourite flower! 🌻🌻🌻
The speciality of this cafe is their chocolate platted dessert. So pretty! I think I spent quite a while relaxing at the cafe before making my way to the Taiwanese Food Festival at Yoyogi Park.
Along the way, I passed by Kiddyland at Harajuku and joined in the queue for a birthday shot with two cute mascots. Not too sure of who they are but they are certainly cute! Despite the warm weather, the Taiwanese food festival had great vibes and did not disappoint! (). Long queues were formed outside popular Taiwanese street food stalls such as xiao long bao (small pork dumplings), Ji Pa (Jumbo Fried Chicken Chop) and bubble tea. There are also other Asian food stalls such as Thai food and Indonesian food. Despite the wide food options, I stuck to my favourite Japanese streetfood: shioyaki! 😋😋😋
From Yoyogi, I continued the stroll down to Shibuya. Did a bit of shopping at OIOI (mall) and settled for dinner at COCO Ichiban Curry House. There are also overseas brunch of this Curry House in Singapore but somehow, the authentic ones in Japan tasted much better! An early night rest for me as I look forward excitedly to school! It has been years since I returned to school and I kind of forgotten what to expect! 😆
Oh so pretty sunflower chocolate plating at Flower Cafe Kazahana at Omotesando.
Saw more pretty blooms from a florist along Omotesando.
I joined in the queue to celebrate their birthday!

Yummy Japanese curry rice at Coco Ichiban Curry House, Shibuya.
I went back to Don Quijote at Shibuya to buy this Rilakkumar toilet papers! 🤪
The scary alley I had to walk everyday. That’s my apartment building. I haven’t seen anyone in the building ever since I moved in. Sometimes, I wonder if I’m staying in a haunted building. 😅
