The materials sent by finale has arrived which got me excited and curious to see what's inside so..
UNBOXING TIME
PRIMED CANVAS
This 10ft. size primed canvas along with the other art materials inside are very heavy to carry. For someone chubby, I think I lost 2 kilos from the amount of sweat I produced from carrying and unboxing it. hahaha joke 🤣
But it's a good exercise 😉😂
STRETCHING THE CANVAS
I immediately used the canvas on my 4x4 ft. wood frames in stock.
It takes manpower to stretch a primed canvas, so I asked the husband of my aunt to help me with it.
An artist who doesn't use stretching pliers on their primed canvas can relate to my struggle.

Here are the finished canvas frames and are ready to be painted, though I already started on a couple of them.
So I opened the small boxes and found:
- Acrylic Lukas Cryl
- Acrylic Amsterdam
- Pallete Knife
- Artist brushes
It's the first time I've known about Lukas brand, so I will take my time to explore and compare it to my Grumbacher paints.
"EVEN VAN GOGH USED LUKAS COLOURS OF SCHOENFELD."
Reading these words on the plastic bag gave me the excitement to start painting. Thinking, this brand will make my paintings last longer just like Van Gogh's works.
Happiness is what I felt receiving
these art materials from my art manager
For someone who doesn't buy expensive art materials (because I can't afford them) and is given by these brands, makes me so happy. ಥ_ಥ
