Being a newbie and a novice in the crypto world makes me feel like a dunce in the presence of such crypto gurus as yourselves. My first experience with crypto currency was early last year when I joined a platform similar to hive. I blogged there for a short while before I stopped because the focus of curators heavily shifted towards crypto related posts and I couldn't do those. I tried learning at that time but it was all too much so I kinda gave up. Fast forward to 2022, I joined hive recently and my knowledge on crypto currency isn't far off from where it was last year. I strongly feel that my joining hive would change that as there's a plethora of posts that can impact me with the knowledge I seek.
Hive is most probably called "hive blockchain" because it's crypto related but I don't totally understand why.
You are probably shaking your head at my ignorance at this point but in my defense I did say I was a novice so please graciously pardon my extreme lack of knowledge.
I recently got to learn that besides hive, creators get rewarded in other tokens too and I think this is very generous as this platform exposes people to other coins thereby expanding their crypto portfolio(I think that's what it's called) and making them explore different parts of the crypto world.
One of the things I found really overwhelming at the time I tried to learn were the charts and stuff. It was all too much for me to handle. It made me wonder how people successfully predicted the market and got huge earnings in return. The charts fascinated as much as they terrified me. I let my fear win then but now I'm more fascinated than terrified and I hope my learning experience will be better this time.
If I thought reading and predicting charts was overwhelming NFT's are on a whole nother level because their existence on it's own is very mind boggling. But I guess with how fast the world is moving in the digital direction, digital art will soon overshadow non-digital art and make Picasso's works look like a child's doodles.
I hope to wrap my head around all this with time and hopefully I'll soon have a better grasp of things.
I stand to be corrected on any word or term misuse that may have occurred in this post. Any suggestions that could push me in the right direction would mean a lot so please share those if you have any.
Thanks so much for reading my post😊
Have a great day!
