I am just loving the feeling here on the new chain!
Isn't this awesome? The Hive is like a breath of fresh air... It feels like a new beginning where anything is possible. This is my first post in the OCD community and because so many people are now shut-in, I thought it would be nice to take you all with me to the beach... Let's go check out some cool driftwood beach art together.
Above: This is McGnarly the Beach Ent and he lives on the beach beside Ocean Blvd in Victoria, British Columbia. This is at the migratory bird sanctuary. I went there a few days ago to photograph birds but for some reason, there weren't many around that day. Fortunately, there was plenty of beach art to see.
Next, we have The Beacher Creature. There is a sign at his feet with some fine print which says "Do not touch, he bites."
Most of the beach art depicts birds... above we see a bald eagle in the nest along with a chick. I actually didn't know that bald eagle chicks are white but I looked it up and found that it's true.
Here is a belted kingfisher. This one might just be my favourite. I've never managed to get a good shot of a real Kingfisher, so I was happy to see this one.
I didn't notice what the sign said for this one... I guess it's a crow and chick in the nest.
Next, I have a lovely woodpecker to show you. There were several more driftwood sculptures but I didn't take any more photos. As I said in the beginning, I was actually there to photograph birds.
I'll close this post with a photo of a great blue heron, just to prove I didn't completely strikeout. All photos were taken by me, . Thanks very much for taking a look!
