Hello People
A beautiful Monday to you all (it's still Monday here at the time of writing), I'm sure you're having the best of time there? Just be fine.
I joined Hive some days ago and ever since then I've been taking my time to navigate the whole sectors(especially the communities) to find where befit me so that I don't go against the rule of any community unknowingly.
After publishing my first Article (my Introduction) which I got a warm welcome from different hivers, I felt at home and well relax because I thought I'd be rejected or being chased back to where I was coming from.
I made some enquiries from friend.
I have friends that introduced me to this platform so whenever and wherever I'm finding difficulties to understand, I usually run back to them for explanation and they've been helpful. I've made enquiries on things like;
🔹Liking(voting)
🔹Reblogging
🔹Payment
🔹Tagging and so many others.
For the payment, I was surprised when my earnings didn't dropped on my wallet after Earning some dollars on my introductory Article and I was made to understand that the earnings would have to stay for minimum of 7days before it'd be collectable...I didn't know that from the the start.
I took steps to engage
At this moment I've mastered some features on how to go about engaging and making friends. I followed some people I found their work interesting, joined some communities, reblogged some articles and as well as voting and I felt like I was winning.
This was the period I properly examined some communities to know their do's and don'ts and they've been helpful.
I made another posts
I came across community, I joined and I met an ongoing weekend challenge, it's called #Zapfic50friday. At first I thought I'd find it easy to do because we were told to write a story of just 50words. I jumped into it and at the middle of writing I found it so challenging. I battled to limit the words in my story to just 50words but it wasn't working because I'm the talkative type to some extent. I finally did it and I gave myself an applaud. I wasn't expecting to win in the challenge but I was fulfilled because I was able to play along.
I was happy also when I found a comedy community because I'm more of a joking type...I love to laugh alot. I joined and found out that there's an ongoing challenge about comedy; #ThecomedyRumble. I didn't think twice, I hopped into it and made my first article there in community. I'm glad a lot of people found the Article hilarious because I received comments that made ne felt like I winner again!
Ever since then, I've been moving around, studying every community, checking out people's blog, voting, reblogging and commenting, just to sharpen my knowledge on the hive platform and it's been awesome.
I'm stopping here, thanks for reading this piece.
