Здравейте на всички бг хайвъри правя един пост на английски, но за вас няма нужда да го превеждам. 🤍💚❤️🤗🙏On this day in my country we celebrate the day of bulgarian army and bravery - Saint George's day. We have a bulgarian tradition that dictates a lamb to be cooked in furnace. That's why this post it's not appropriate for vegetarians. 😁
🐑 Before I uncover the secrets of our tradition and the lamb in furnace let me firt give you a tour around my village.

This here is my grandmother who I love so much
This is one part of her winter supplies of food.
And the coloured eggs for Easter. As I mentioned before we colour eggs for Easter.
🙏
Here my Mother's preparing part of the filling for the lamb.

After we fill the lamb it have to be stitched up and put in baking dish.
The lamb is left is pre lit furnace. After that the entrance of the furnace have to be closed with one big stone and all sides of the stone sealed with mud. The lamb stays in the furnace for around 10 hours at 250/300 degrees.
This is my brother who took part of preparing the lamb.
At the end before we sit at the table to have lunch - the food is consecrate.
