The people who follow me on Hive probably know that I'm into fashion and everything that involves clothing. My wardrobe is packed with items, old and new, so I have to clean it every once in a while so it won't explode.
Some stuff has been lying in my closet from back when I was 16. I usually bring those very old pieces to a drop-off point, where they send the collected clothing to a country where it is much needed. This way I can help people ánd I don't have to buy another closet.
But there are also items in my closet that I've only worn once or twice and which still look good. That's why I figured it would be a good idea to sell some of those pieces online. Only the ones that don't look like they have been worn before. That way the buyer feels like she bought something new and I can also ask for a fair amount of money.
Yesterday I thought it was a nice day to place some pieces of clothing on United Wardrobe, an app in the Netherlands where you can sell shoes, clothing, bags etc. I came across this white, red, green and black colored top in my closet, which I hadn't worn in ages. I took some photos of it and placed it online. Immediately, a girl asked me if I had a picture of me wearing the top, so she could see what it exactly looked like and how the top fits. I didn't had one, so I had to take a new photo to show her. Like I said, it's had been a while since I've worn this top, so I had to think of a new way to style it. I pulled out these white shorts to combine with and I kind of fell in love with this top again. The girl didn't reply to me after I showed her the picture, which is a good thing for me actually, because I'm kind of thinking about keeping it...
What do you think? Is it 2020 enough to keep it?;)
Lots of love,
Dymph
