Hi everyone, My name is Nu, and I'm 29 years old. I got married and had a happy family in Vietnam. This is the first time I've heard about “HIVE” through my friend . She told me this is the place where I can connect with all the people in the world, and through that, I can share and learn a lot of things from everyone on Hive.
I was very excited when I was introduced to it, and I really want to discover the Hive community. That is why I'm here now.
I was born in a farming family where there are gentle people with a clean atmosphere without street lights and cars. It is peaceful countryside with green grasslands reaching the horizon. Life in our hometown is suitable for someone who loves quiet and peaceful, no hustle.
My family has 11 people, my parent, 2 sisters, my brother, and my son. Thanks so much to my parents who raised and gave me a life in the best way they could. Our family lives mainly by farming and raising rice, corn and also have a lovely buffalo. We had to do everything by hand 10 years ago. However, we have machines at this time, it helps us with less hard work, the children don't have any amusement parks and the game of these children is a folks game. Also, I have to help my parents work when I’m only 8 years old. My main job is taking care of buffalo and becoming a real housewife.
I studied English at Quang Nam University which is a small university in our province. After I graduated in 2014, I came to Hoi An ancient town, and worked in a tailor shop. As you know, Hoi An is really famous for tailoring, YaLy tailor is the first place to study working experiences. I’m so surprised that they can sew a suit in 2 hours? Yes. It’s real. I’m a seller here and will give customers advice on which style will be suitable for them. Most of the customers are from the USA and Australia so I can improve my English skill and be more confident when I communicate with customers.
After 2 years, I worked at Yaly couture, I think that I should find another job that I can exchange more, and then I became a receptionist at Hoi An Rivertown hotel. Luckily, I met a nice group at this hotel. Our team has 14 girls and a boy. When I start to work there, they have more friends and can communicate with a lot of people from other countries.
So I studied more culture in different countries. Sometimes, if I have free time, I take travelers around Hoi An to enjoy some traditional food and introduce Hoi an.
The bad things will happen when we have a covid-19 situation in 2019. All workers are unemployed because The flight is closed. One more time, I need to find another job.
We joined the Merchandiser team in Peak outdoor company which produce tent for camping. So I’m really interested in it. Our workers need to be careful about each detail to finish a tent. It’s really difficult than clothes or shoes.
I love to travel. Traveling brings me a feeling of being myself. I'd love to go to many places, experience many different cultures, and discover new things. It makes me feel happy and excited. My youth was a memorable time. It is filled with travel and experiences.
I've been to Dalat. It's a place with nice weather and delicious food!
I have explored every corner of Da Nang, a city worth living in Vietnam.
And HOI AN - where I have been for more than 5 years and met my husband. I consider it as my second home.
Every place I go through leaves me with unforgettable emotions and memories. I hope that one day not far away, our world will be free of the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic. I and all of you will have the opportunity to explore and conquer more new lands, learn more good things and make more friends.
Finally, I would like to thank for bringing me to Hive, to a colorful world. Thanks to
for accepting help and support in this exciting journey of discovery. I also can't forget to thank everyone who took the time to read my intro. Wish you all the best. Much love from Vietnam. 😍
