Four years ago I experienced Hard Resetting Phone GONE WRONG with Samsung Galaxy A3 and four months ago, I woke up to another nightmare, the worst nightmare!
That moment I knew that there's no way I could save my phone. It's all over and done. I tried finding ways to fix it because I didn't have the means to buy a new one yet. But my google attempt didn't yield any result. So all this time, I had to get by with a greenscreen. It's quite annoying because I couldn't see anything clearly.
Another problem that I had recently is memory problem and over-heating. Whenever I go outside, I am always anxious whether I could go home from a place. Since, that's the only way I connect with my family and also grab service. I was also constantly anxious because I have some crypto 2FA stored and it would be a nightmare if I lost it. I have experienced that and I don't want experiencing such anymore. Plus, my mom been buzzing me to get a new phone as well as. Soo... finally today I got a new one!
This time, my baby is Samsung a10s!
I actually had some in mind that I wanted. At first, I wanted Galaxy A01 which was quite decent for what I need and is reasonable. But I changed my mind because my budget. I was going with this thought " It's okay I guess, even if it's not samsung." I mean, not buying samsung means I am going out of my comfort zone. All of my phones which weren't samsung don't last long in my hands. So there was that risk looming over my head. Especially, I just broke my mom's phone and had to pay for is repair service. That moment I knew, there's no way I could try using any phone than samsung. What about iphone? well, I am afraid I could break the screen in less than a month due to my clumsy hands. I watched a screen test video and it looks quite sturdy. So I hope nothing ever happens to the screen.
Today, I was browsing through a phone store at the city. They have a neat website and has a lot of brands. I screen through everything and made some choices that fits my budget. Then, I was curious about Samsung Price. That's when I found Samsung a10s on discounted price!
So, I went to the physical store since it's nearby and asked the staff about it. The friendly staff told me that there's only 2 left. I didn't hesitate to pick that one. I choose green over blue.
The phone specification is alright. With the price, it was quite satisfactory. All this time, I always use my mom's phone to take picture but since I have a new one, I can finally use mine without bothering her.
According to GSM arena, Samsung A10S has dual camera 13 MP, f/1.8, 28mm (wide), AF and 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth). And the front has 8MP. But I think the camera is a bit grainy.
I am also new to dual camera phone. So i'd need to figure out the configuration. I tried taking some pictures with different mode but I'll test them out tomorrow morning. I think at night, it looks quite acceptable.
The only thing that I didn't like from this phone is the size. I know that a lot of phone these days have bigger screen. Meanwhile, I am already used to using a small pocket size A3 for 4 years! so it's gonna take a while for me to adjust.
I suppose the upgrade from my previous phone to this current one is also RAM and the memory. However, unfortunately, this phone doesn't have NFC option that I actually use quite often. But even it doesn't have NFC, one of the coolest feature of this phone is fingerprint unlock. I didn't expect this feature especially in an entry-level phone.
Finally! no more green stripes and I can play PUBG without afraid of running out of memory and dropping rate plus overheating. 😁
