Mi presentación: ¡Soy María Mazombé! / My presentation: I'm Maria Mazombé!

Me acompañan la voz, la palabra y también la poesía, alzadas y rebeldes todas, para expresar lo que es incómodo, inapropiado e incorrecto en los mundos patriarcales.

I'm accompanied by the voice, the word and also poetry, all raised and rebellious, to express what is uncomfortable, inappropriate and incorrect in patriarchal worlds.

Asumo la palabra como acto en ejercicio constante para transgredir y transformar. Me atraviesa la palabra hablada y escrita para levantarla desde mi ser y hacer de mujer negra, proletaria, compañera de las luchas de las mujeres y de los pueblos subalternizados.

I assume the word as an act in constant exercise to transgress and transform. I go through the spoken and written word to raise it from my being and doing as a black woman, proletarian, companion of the struggles of women and subalternized peoples.

Me inquieta buscar el lenguaje que nos nombra, que asumo, como parte de los habilitares que podemos ir abriendo en las propuestas de los feminismos del sur, feminismos populares y feminismos negros.

I'm concerned about looking for the language that names us, that I assume, as part of the habilitations that we can open in the proposals of southern feminisms, popular feminisms and black feminisms.

Buscarnos en nuestra par mujer despojada, carente, discriminada y cautiva. ¿Si lo “apropiado” es la dominación? ¿Cómo construir lo “no apropiado”? ¿Cómo dar con las palabras y el lenguaje de lo “no apropiado”?

To look for ourselves in our own stripped, deprived, discriminated and captive female peer. If the "appropriate" is domination, how to construct the "not appropriate", how to find the words and the language of the "not appropriate"?

Quiero escribir temas, historias y testimonios feministas y antirracistas. También anhelo transmitir un mensaje transgresor, que nos lleve a la reflexión constante, al cuestionamiento constante, a la búsqueda constante de los sentidos que podemos darle a nuestras vidas. Vidas para aportar a la humanidad.

I want to write feminist and anti-racist themes, stories and testimonies. I also want to transmit a transgressive message that leads us to constant reflection, to constant questioning, to the constant search for the meanings we can give to our lives. Lives to contribute to humanity.

Desde hace poco también quiero escribir sobre salud en general, especialmente los temas de salud mental. La poesía me atraviesa como ya he mencionado y siempre está ahí como un salto a la locura o lucidez. Ella siempre aparece de forma intempestiva en la herida, para que pueda sobrevivir.

Since recently I also want to write about health in general, especially mental health issues. Poetry runs through me as I have already mentioned and is always there as a leap into madness or lucidity. Always appears in a timeless way in the wound, so that it can survive.

Espero escribir en estas comunidades que se encuentran y que mi palabra pueda dar saltos, provocar conversas, reflexiones liberadoras y descarnadas.

I hope to write in these communities that meet and that my word can leap, provoke conversations, liberating and stark reflections.
