The lockdown amid Coronavirus pandemic hasn't gone but the commercial movement has begun in some places while taking necessary preventive measures to stop the spread.
Today I want to share with you guys some crazy experiences passengers and commercial drivers face on a said "Inter-state" road network which normally supposed to be a smooth and safe route.
Yes.. You all head me right : it's supposed to be a smooth and safe route to commercial drivers for easy movement and communication of goods and services. But instead it's has turned to a death trap for innocent individuals which risks there lives in driving on a muddy and dirty road filled with bumps cracks and gullies created by erosion due improper drainage system.
In some places, vehicles do slope to almost the point which the dirty water and mud would reach the driver's seat.
While in some cases, the passengers have to come down from the vehicle and probably unload the bus in other to reduce the weight of the vehicle so as to prevent it from getting stuck in the mud.
See images below where passengers are out of the vehicle.
This situation is making goods and services movement slow and risky! A waybill could spend days before getting to the destination, making cost of transportation increasing drastically and increasing the cost of food products in the market.
The farmers took advantage of the fertile soil, planting corn 🌽 and some other crops along the road side..... They are not to be blamed, however a well planed road network wouldn't have crops planted along the road.
