Extreme poverty is a situation that has worsened as the years have passed, it is surprising how the world has evolved so much and at no time has attention been paid to this social condition. We can see that governments worldwide have been interested in advancing at a scientific, technological and military level, but have not allocated resources to eradicate extreme poverty in their countries.
Another point to consider is the abysmal differences that exist in social classes, it is impressive to see the lists of the richest people in the world, the number of millions that are invested in superficial projects, how the concentration of wealth is found in a single sector And each time the rich are richer and the poor poorer. Currently we see how the world is eclipsed with the maximum splendor and display of wealth in a country as small as Qatar, where the greatest event in the world of soccer is being held, where a great investment in infrastructure and technology has been made. if this same dedication, energy and support were received by a project to reduce poverty, it would be easily achieved.
But the condition of selfishness and superficiality of human beings is what does not allow this progress, so unfortunately this is a problem that is spreading like a virus, we see that in Latin America it is increasing every day, this is due to multiple factors, some of the most relevant are inflation and economic problems that have diminished the quality of life and purchasing power of those born in these countries.
In my case, I can say that extreme poverty is a condition that makes me very sad, it is difficult to see people without a home to live in or that the conditions are precarious, they find themselves without food, clothing or footwear, unfortunately in Venezuela poverty It has increased, it can be seen that there are areas where these conditions are common, so it is unfortunate that a country with so much wealth and potential does not have the resources to support and provide the means for these people to have a dignified life.
I have the blessing of saying that I have never been in a situation of poverty, although I have had to work and make an effort, I have always had the means and resources to enjoy a decent life, covering all my basic needs and those of my children and even being able to offer a helping hand to those who are going through difficult times, since we do not know if at some point I have to see myself in the position of needing the support of other people. So we should be very grateful for having a home, clothes, shoes, food, and even the opportunity to fulfill some particular tastes
