I work with medical tourism from time to time. Since I have to go to India often. I have had to go to different hospitals in Kolkata many times. But he never went to Vellore in Chennai. This time a distant relative of mine said that they would treat me at the Christian Medical College Hospital in Vellore. All my expenses must be traveled by air.
Anyway, I have an idea about Vellore just by listening to people and going online. But practically everything is never known.
I managed everything slowly, doctor's appointment, air ticket and hotel. After booking everything, I called my Indian friend Dev, who is an engineer at Chennai Airport. In a word, he said no tension. I am Just tell the flight time.
So no worries for now. I reached Chennai properly.
About 3 hours journey from Chennai to Vellore. I was at Dev's house for 1 day. I will tell that story another day.
There was tension about going to Vellore, Dev said everything. No more problems to go.
The problem that everyone faces when it comes to Vellore is eating, we are not accustomed to South Indian food. So it's a big problem.
But I came here and realized that it is not a problem. You can cook in the hotels yourself. All cooking items are available for rent. There is a market nearby, all available, and you can buy in very small quantities which may not be possible in our country.
I was there for about 15 days. Of course, I am a solo traveler, in the sense that I usually do not have any problem with various foods. But those who went with me have gone out of the country for the first time, so their condition is bad after eating one meal. The next day all the cooking utensils were rented in the room. After that, it became like his own house. These days I gave some pictures of what I played outside. And I also gave Kiki available in the market. Hope you get a good idea. If anyone wants to go, I hope you find it useful.
I will write later about the rules and regulations of the hospital and the medical process.
