The hard days are also flying by swiftly. It's Monday once again. Time for left over stitching work.
Ever since the new Flat screen TV came to my house last winter, I was planning to have a good TV cover for it, so that it doesn't get dusty when not in use.
Well, so was expected by family from me. So recently I started to prepare it after collecting a lot of raw materials from the market, when ever I got the chance to go there. The cloth required was a color matching with the living room, which took me some time to get it.
The main materials required were:
- a cloth (apparently attractive) matching with room color (3 x 2 m.)
- designer lace for borders (4-5 m.)
- dark color decorative buttons (flower lace) (60-65 nos.)
- matching threads
Preparation:
After cutting the cloth as per the 42" TV size and allowing the extra some for folding sides, I started with stitching the side folds.
The designer lace was quite matching with the cloth, got stitched on top and bottom sides of the cover.
The dark colored flower buttons were obtained from cutting the lace. They were stitched in a group of 5 each.
This is how it came out to be finally. The cover can be used from both the sides.(By exchanging front and back sides.)
Hope you like it. Please give your thoughts in comments.
This is all for now, see you soon!
