Hello Zooters'
Welcome to another review of craft beer, a beauty delivered by the brewery.
Hopper Blonde :
The beer is crafted at the iconic Brouwerij De Barbandere in Belgium, the recipe for Hopper was rediscovered by three brewmasters — Chris Vanacker, Yves Benoit and Pieter Maes. The beer is brought in India by Brindco, who is also the rightful seller of some other premium beers as well.
If you know beers this is probably the best Belgian beer that I have ever tasted. This is a blonde Lager beer that has a history, over a hundred-year-old recipe is used to brew this beauty. The Ingredients are only four that are found in any lager, Malted Barley, Hops, Yeast and water. However, the consistency and quality of these four ingredients are what differs this lager from any other.
Let's pour it in,
In the making, the brewery ferments the craft for 8 days and 30 days to mature this before it hits the market. The different aromatic hops used in this beer are amazing and gives it a refreshing fragrance of citrus and cream. Now I am trying to nose into this, ummmmmmm!!! amazing floral and grassy aroma to start off. The citrus aroma is now lemony aroma to be precise. The beer has a golden colour with a good head. Probably the amount of carbonation is the reason behind this thick froth, Let's dive right in.
The taste test :
I have a bright and crisp taste, also bitter than others. Aromatic Hops used in this I think is the reason behind this bitterness, though there is a very pronounced taste of the hops, easily figured. The crisp spicy or pepper-like taste is there. Overall it is a balanced taste. The bitterness is not in the aftertaste leaving a very good mouthfeel. This is a medium-bodied beer so I felt a little bloated after drinking it.
Conclusion :
The craft with 4.8 ABV, alcohol level is what anybody would prefer in a strong beer. The beer has a sharp bitterness so it will best be enjoyed with carb foods. I would say this is the drink I would want with my Pizza. I would also recommend it to other people.
Well thank you for reading this, until next time,
